Total rental process was a breeze! Welcome bag is perfect! It is a little far walk to the beach with small children. We drove and used the access on 77th where we could park. Just too far with cooler, tent, chairs, toys, and a one and five year old. Neighbor called realtor to report us for playing music at 2:00 in the afternoon. Be prepared for that if you intend to use the pool. We only had the music on for us to hear and she called to report us within two minutes. Despite this, the pool is wonderful. Gets sun until early afternoon. We enjoyed it everyday after our day at the beach. Plenty of beach towels, bath towels, pool floats, and beach chairs. We brought our own umbrella and cart so do not have a rating on those that are there. Nice kitchen and utensils, we cooked in 5 nights. Plenty of dishes, glassware and flatware. Refrigerator has an ice maker and filtered water which is great. Washer and dryer were modern and great. Beds are very comfortable and sheets are nice. Air conditioning works very well. High chair and pack n play were there upon our arrival. Overall excellent find on AMI and would definitely rent again.
We had 3 weeks at Turtle Nest whilst there was a heat wave which made the pool essential and very welcome. The proximity to the beach was great and very easy. I think we were unfortunate in not always being able to fully use the outside area because of the mosquitoes. However citronella candels kept them at bay. In all we had a great time and were able to use it as a base for many excursions and would thoroughly recommend it.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Very clean and the perfect for our family. The house was great for our 10 month old granddaughter. The neighborhood was quiet. Plan to come back again!
The Turtle Nest was a lovely, immaculate, and convenient home for our family vacation. We will definitely be booking this location again!
Our family of 6 stayed here for 5 nights in January and loved every minute of it! The Turtle Nest is adorable and has everything you could possibly want or need. Coming from a "not so good" stay in Orlando, it was a pleasure walking into this very clean and well maintained duplex for the rest of our vacation. Everything was perfect. Plenty of beach/pool towels for our entire family along with a great starter/welcome kit of supplies needed for a few days. The beach is amazing and very close to the turtle nest. We walked there several times as well as rode the bikes we rented. Safe, clean area! We spent most of our time in the pool, which was great to have due to the cooler temps of the ocean. The property management was very quick to respond with a few questions we had and very pleasant. Great communication! Thank you, Alex! We hope to return to Anna Maria Island and stay here again in the future. The island has so much to offer. Quaint little shops and fantastic restaurants. If you're considering a stay on the island, don't hesitate to book the Turtle Nest if it fits your needs! We highly recommend it. Thanks again for everything!
