The little friends of our Guests are welcome provided complying with some simple rules. - Guests, before completing the booking, will communicate type of animal, weight, size. - Send a recent photo of the animal. - However Casale Refoli's owner has the right to determine to accept or not the animal. - Cats or dogs are allowed not more than 1 (less than a very specific exceptions). - Pets allowed must be conducted so as not to cause nuisance, danger or damage to procure other guests and to property of Casale Refoli. If necessary, specific prohibitions may be communicated orally directly from the owner. Smoking is not permitted inside the apartments. Smoking is permitted outside, providing not to disturb other people. Please dispose of cigarette butts properly. Booking Deposit "Caparra Confirmatoria". If, before payment of the balance of the lease (30 days before the holiday), the customer decides to cancel the reservation: 1) CASALE REFOLI in every case will not return the deposit "caparra confirmatoria". 2) Customer can use the deposit for any other reservation (bookings calendar permitting). Cancellations by the Customer. If the customer decides to cancel the reservation between 29 and 16 days before arrival: CASALE REFOLI will not return 80% of the rental agreement. If the customer decides to cancel the reservation 15 days before arrival: CASALE REFOLI will not return 100% of the rental agreement. |

All our apartments are self catering and have a full kitchen. If required we can provide a list of nearby restaurants recommended by our guests. Not included in the price to be paid on place. _ Minimum Security Deposit: EURO 150 to be paid in cash par apartment at arrival. The deposit will be returned by the owner at the end of the holiday, after the final apartment inspection. _ Tax of tourist sojourn of Casole d'Elsa village is excluded: 1,00 EUR per person per night. No more than 5 nights. Children under 12 years will not pay. The Sojourn Tax shall apply from 1st April to 31st October. ELECTRICITY AND AIR CONDITIONING* The standard consumption of electricity included in rent of apartment is 4 / KWh per day. Beyond this amount the rate is EUR 1,00 / kWh to be paid in cash at the end of the holiday. In case of loss or damage of the remote control of air conditioner (or other remote controls that are present in the apartment such as the TV, the fans or the entrance gate) the cost to be paid is EUR 100. |

I live with my family in Casale Refoli and I work managing the property and welcoming guests. It's a job that I really like. This is the eighth season that Casale Refoli opens its doors to people who come from all over Europe and beyond, to visit to appreciate Tuscany and its beauties. I love Tuscany, I like art and nature. I have traveled in the past, now also standing still I can meet different people from different places.
Casale Refoli is located on a very idyllic location in the middle of the tuscany hills and very close to Casole d'Elsa which has great charm and view over the region. The pool and house were clean. Pool got cleaned almost every day. Enough accommodation at swimming pool to serve all apartments. Giovanni was a very nice host and his communication was clear upfront on how to get there. However we decided to leave 2 days earlier due to a few reasons which we could not ignore : We were the only guests at end of September which did not create the right ambiance for us during the evenings. There is a 2 km rocky unpaved - non lightened road towards the appartment which prevented us from leaving the house more than once per day (otherwise I believe we would have gone more to Casole d'Elsa at night). During breakfast, apéro, dinner we were always accompanied by the four cats from Giovanni. They were not shy running into our appartement, jumping on our table every time we turned our back. We were warned by Airbnb that pets live on the property but we underestimated the impact on our holiday mood. So make sure you love cats. Central location to visit the charming towns over all Tuscany (from Firenze to Siena to Montepulciano).
Abbiamo soggiornato due giorni a Casale Refoli, un luogo incantevole immerso nella bellissima campagna senese. L'alloggio è molto spazioso, pulito ed arredato con gusto. Anche dalla piscina si può ammirare la meravigliosa vista sulle colline circostanti. La tranquillità del luogo ha permesso un fine settimana di assoluto relax. Giovanni è un host gentile e disponibile: la sera del nostro arrivo è venuto a prenderci nel vicino centro di Casole, per accompagnarci al Casale. Siamo poi stati accolti da due gatti ed un cagnolino molto simpatici, la cui presenza discreta nel giardino ha rallegrato i nostri arrivi, dopo le gite nei borghi circostanti. Consiglio vivamente un soggiorno per chi volesse regalarsi qualche giorno nella natura, vicino ai centri più belli della Toscana.
