Description

ATTENTION: The AlohaPalace com  Was Just SOLD and as of the very beginning of 2021 it is NOT AVAILABLE FOR RENT. The new owners of the AlohaPalace have no interest in renting the house at this time so you will have to forget the AlohaPalace for the time being, and please do not disturb the new owners. Milan plans to purchase a replacement house soon but that could take months because of the current Sellers` Market since there are very few homes available for sale and the prices are historically highest ever! So please be patient and rent some other house for now and check back on this website later to see if Milan was able to buy a replacement house anywhere nearly as beautiful as his first dream house, probably not but like all of us right now trying to cope with the challenges brought about by the Pandemic have to do Milan will try to buy a nice replacement house in Honolulu as quickly as possible, but has no idea right now how long it will take and which house he will buy, it may be some house that is not even available to buy yet. When I will have succeeded in purchasing a replacement rental property I will publish the new photos and description here and also on the major portals where there is no listing being shown any more at all so you will not try to rent a house which is not available for rent.

Good Luck and Stay safe. Aloha, Milan :-)

Our Family's Best Vacation Ever

We took our kids and grand-kids to Hawaii for Christmas this year. There are 24 of us. It was nearly impossible to find a home big enough for such a large herd. The Aloha Palace turned out to be the perfect solution. It was large enough that we could all stay in the same home, but at the same time did not feel crowded together. In other words, when the teenagers wanted some space from their parents they could retreat to another part of the enormous complex. It is located just minutes away from the best snorkeling on the island, Hanauma Bay. We discovered that if you show up at Hanauma Bay before 7:00am, the rangers let you in free of charge. We went every morning (except Tuesdays when they are closed and Sundays). The owner, Milan, lives on site in an attached apartment off of the garage. He was most generous and helpful. One of our granddaughters had a bad cough and Milan spent lots of time and money finding supplements to try to help her. One of the bedrooms is palatial, big enough for two king-sized beds and several couches. It sits higher than the rest of the home and has beautiful views of the bay below. We decided to let each of our four children take a turn (five days) staying in this suite with their family. That way everyone got to enjoy the special luxury. During our stay in December, there were several days that were rainy on the East side of the island where the Aloha Palace is located. We used the weather as an excuse to explore the West side of the island and made a wonderful discovery. While visiting Pokai Beach (NOT Pokai Bay Beach) we decided to snorkel around the rock break that extends out from the beach about 150 yards. We found that the area was teaming with schools of fish and lousy with sea turtles. On one of our visits we counted eighteen turtles! In short, I can not adequately express just how wonderful the Aloha Palace was for our family vacation. We hated to leave. As the last of our family was headed to the airport, Milan was there to wave them goodbye. My grandson, Austin age 9, turned to his parents and said "He is such a nice man!"

Glorious Oahu with Milan

We have had a glorious time at Milan's beautiful home in Oahu. Our grandchildren have loved every second in the pool and the adults have luxuriated in the hot tub. It has been a home away from home, and one we have grown to love. Each day after our Hawaiian adventures, we have all mentioned how lovely it was to come home to this tranquil setting and this peaceful home. Thank you to Milan for his incredible generosity and kindnesses. We have felt like cherished guests. We had enough room to spread out and feel like kings and queens!! This is a first rate home and a first rate host.

Fantastic house with great views and great location

Milan was a great host that was more than accommodating during our stay. The house was close to a lot of great places to see and also good restaurants. Far enough away from downtown Honolulu/Waikiki where you felt like you were on an island but close enough to go visit places such as Pearl Harbor.

Family holiday in Hawaii

This property is in a great location in Hawaii kai, conveniently located near many great restaurants and shopping. There are several sleeping accommodations, and plenty of bedding for all of the beds and more. Having so many bathrooms and separate sleeping areas for our family made it a fantastic option for our family. Being able to stay in this massive home allowed us to spend more time together, cook and enjoy meals together and to relax by the pool and cook out. We had ages from 10 to 86 in our party of nineteen family members. The Wifi was excellent every where. Milan the owner of the property was extremely accommodating, communication was open and all questions were always answered. The property does have a steep driveway, however it allows the property to be nestled right into the side of the mountain for breathtaking views from every room in the home. Would highly recommend considering this property for your next vacation, we are planning on returning in 2020.

Huge Home with Amazing Views!!!!!

This house was great. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here!! Had plenty of room for myself & 11 of my guests. There was even a room at the very first level we didn’t even get to use! Having extra bathrooms was a HUGE plus. Pool area was awesome. We had many fun nights playing football in the pool overlooking the views of Hanuama Bay! Kitchen is well appointed and has everything you could need. Costco & Safeway is nearby for all your grocery needs. The owner Milan lives on the property in a separate entrance room beside the garage port and was very helpful with any questions we had. Definitely worth the 5 stars!!! Aloha!

Big, beautiful home located on a hill in a quiet, picturesque area of Honolulu

Our family of 23 did not want to leave! This home is amazing and met all of our expectations! I can attest to previous reviews that everything was provided for our vacation; from snorkeling equipment and boogie boards to bedside outlets to charge our phones, we really didn’t have to concern ourselves with anything other than food, and Costco and Safeway are only about a mile away! My favorite part of the home was the gazebo atop the hill. What an awesome view! A perfect, quiet place to reflect and unwind. The pool area, complete with hot tub and BBQ grills, was the main attraction though, as our young adults, teens, tweens and little ones swam for hours on end!

Beautiful property, amazing location, the best vacation

There's so much good the say about the Kokokai palace and the owner Milan. We were on Oahu for my mom and her fiancé's wedding, thirteen of us stayed at the Palace including 3 younger children. The house is so big it was easy for everyone to get some quiet time or privacy if they ever wanted. There was everything a person could use or want already at the property. I'd planned on getting my kiddos some life jackets and we brought our own snorkels but the house even had that already there so we didn't need any of that kind of stuff. The pool and jacuzzi were an amazing place to spend the days when we weren't at a beach or touring around, and also the evenings after the kiddos were in bed. And the view, it was unreal. I spent a bit of every day just taking in the view. The location ended up being one of the huge reasons it's so special. At the end of a cul-de-sac backing onto the crater ridge of Haunama Bay, we never felt the buzz of downtown at all. Which after driving down to Waikiki a couple times made us appreciate it all the more. The owner Milan was very accommodating and friendly and we were more than happy with everything. So much so we will probably come back to the Palace for sure in the not distant future. My kids, 6 and 4 had the most amazing time also (they loved feeding the koi fish). I would recommend it to anyone.

Stunning Views and Great Location

We had a great time with our family of 15 at KoKo Thai Palace. Our 90 year old Mother was treated as a queen as there was an elevator that was a great help! We enjoyed relaxing in the pool and spa after running around the island. Costco was very close and we saved $ cooking at house almost twice a day! Special and Memorable vacation for our Family!

Amazing Experience!

Words can't express! Our family reunion at the KokoKai was beyond our expectations! We were a sizeable group and never felt crowded at all. Milan was the perfect host and answered all our questions without delay and made us feel very welcome with suggestions on where to go and things to do. Knowing the island so well, he let us in on his favourite spots and gave us tips and tricks on how to get around to get the most out of our trip! The house is spectacular and so well equipped with amazing views and so central to everything you want to do on Oahu.Hanauma Bay,which is right around the corner was a favourite spot with our snorkelers and beach goers and made so much easier with all the equipment that was made available to us in the house.Non-adventurous types or people who just wanted to take it easy were able to sit around the pool and relax and enjoy the views of Maunaloa Bay or climb up to the gazebo and practice their yoga.We would highly recommend this place to anyone who is intending to spend time in Oahu as it has everything needed to make your vacation a memorable one. Mahalo, once again, Milan and we hope to see you again! Merci!

Two weeks of bliss.

The property was everything that it is advertised to be and much more. We were a party of 10 adults and 2 small children. The house was very accommodating to all of our needs and had perfect views of the island. The facilities, house and surrounds were beyond our expectations. The house itself was open, with plenty of spots for guest to hide and read a book or to gather and entertain, and had more beds than I cared to count. It was a short walk to the local shops and bus stops, and had plenty of restaurants and things to do within the area. I highly recommend this house to anyone with a medium to large group looking for a palace to stay while on holiday.

Aloha ...My Fiance and I as well as 10 family member just stayed in Milan's beautiful Palace from March 2, 2015- March 25, 2015...it is a beautiful home, if you could even consider it such as that. This amazing residence has just beautiful views, amazing accommodations, a peaceful Pool and Jacuzzi, and an amazing location only 15 -25 minutes away from downtown Honolulu. You will be amazed by the spaciousness of this mansion...and Milan the owner of the house is an amazing person to rent from, very considerate and very loving of his renters....he made our time in Oahu amazing.

Palace in paradise

We stayed in this house for almost two weeks in Feb, 2015 and we couldn't be happier. We were initially a bit hesitant in our housing search as the house has only recently been rented out and there weren't too many reviews, but our fears were completely unfounded. It was our big family reunion. There were five families from the East Coast USA and Korea, a total of 16 people (10 adults, 6 kids). The house instantly impressed when we walked in to the amazing views available throughout many angles. The house is big enough that we didn't feel crammed with five separate families. It provides enough personal space, but at the same time, it has many good spots for gathering. A large dining/living room, kitchen, swimming pool, and the pavilion was perfect to create some memorable family moments. The house is also located in a really nice residential area and is close to many touristic spots and stores and restaurants. We went to Costco (10min away) multiple times to feed the big group and enjoyed ice cream shops, bakeries, and restaurants nearby. Hanauma bay (best snorkeling spot in Oahu) is only a 5min drive away, which was super convenient since traffic can be quite bad. You can also easily go to Honolulu to go to Waikiki beach or Pearl Harbor (30-40min drive) without having to stay in a crowded hotel zone. The owner Milan is extremely nice and friendly. He is very responsive and is readily available. He is constantly maintaining the house to keep it ready for visitors. Thanks Milan for a wonderful and memorable vacation stay at your house!

Fantastic Year in Hawaii

My family and I spent nearly a year living in Hawaii Kai at Kokokai Palace. my wife and I have seven children and it was a challenge to find a home large enough to accommodate us. Kokokai Palace provided everything that we needed and more. During our year we had nearly 30 visitors and we were able to accommodate all of them with ease! We thoroughly enjoyed the home during our stay. The views are dramatic. Having the pool and courtyard integrated into the home was very convenient and allowed us to enjoy the tropical setting to the maximum. The meditation gazebo available to us was also special. It was a great place to sit and watch the sunset over Diamondhead. Now that we are back in Nebraska, suffering through frigid temperatures, we miss Kokokai Palace more than ever! We hope to visit Milan in Hawaii again. it is too bad that our responsibilities on the mainland keep us away. The Carlson family

Two Weeks in Paradise

I stayed at this beautiful home with nine family members for a wonderful holiday in paradise. The listing description was very accurate and the home was fantastic and the kitchen was fully equipped. The home, pool, hot tub and barbeque all very well maintained and we spent a lot of time by the pool or one of the many lanais watching the most stunning sunsets. I love to snorkel and Haunama bay was a few minutes away. The owner Milan was very gracious and informative with all our questions and even took me out snorkelling one morning! Milan stays on the property in a separate suite and it was very nice to have him close by. I have already recommended this home to a friend and would not hesitate to go back for another amazing experience.

Beautiful, Exotic & Family Friendly Hawaiin Getaway

Beautiful pool and hot tub which the kids enjoyed for hours every day after the adults were worn out from exploring the island. Big enough for 8-9 people to feel too crowded, convenient to anywhere you wanted to go. And Milan is an excellent and extremely considerate and accommodating host. I'm sorry I did not post a review earlier, just thought of it while looking on VRBO for this summer's adventure stay!

Fantastic Panoramic Views, Exceeded Expectations!

Fantastic location, incredibly beautiful panoramic views. The spirit of Hawaii and Thailand are evident everywhere, an absolutely amazing house! It`s the highest home up the side of the extinct volcano right behind which is Hanauma Bay, where the fish and turtles were incredibly friendly. It`s possible to hike over the hill from the backyard but going to Hanauma Bay by car is really a lot quicker, we could be snorkeling in just a few minutes. The solar-heated pool and jacuzzi at the house are totally private and no one could look at us as we were swimming, yet we had the amazing view of the ocean. The master bedroom up on the third floor is incredibly beautiful and has a great balcony. From the fully-equipped kitchen we could see the pool and jacuzzi and at the same time look out at the coastline all the way to Diamond Head and beyond at downtown Honolulu, and the sunsets were amazing. In the kitchen there was a really good water filter so we didn`t have to go out and buy bottled water, that was very convenient. The owners left a lot of healthy food and even delicious condiments and every kind of kitchen utensil for us to use. The owner is very health-conscious and ecologically minded, and so all the light bulbs and TV`s were the latest LED and it was great to know that the electricity and even the hot water we used came mostly from the sun! In the garden we could pick the fruit from the papaya trees and lime and other tropical trees. The owner was always ready to give helpful advice and explain how everything works. There were lots of beach chairs and umbrellas and towels and snorkeling gear for us to use. There was no city noise, in fact no noise at all, and the nights were incredibly tranquil, what a difference from noisy and hectic Waikiki! The terrific Studio Guest House where I stayed also has fantastic views of the coastline and I was amazed to learn that this Guest House was where a really famous Hawaiian-born singer stayed during his Christmas 2011 rental of this house, wow! And it was so close to lots of beautiful beaches and shopping, sometimes we just walked to the nearby shopping center. The Koko Kai Thai Palace even exceeded my expectations and I had the time of my life!
