Intrepid House provides a perfect place for a relaxing get-away for 5- 6 guests (2 bdrm w/queen beds & a twin daybed for one adult or two small kids). If you need more space, the Intrepid Annex (queen bed and full sofa sleeper) a can be rented separately for 9-10 total guests. Walk 3 min through the dunes to the wide-open ocean beach, ride bikes on the Discovery trail just outside your door, or take kids to the arcade and go-carts in town.There is a $40 fee for pets & max of 2 dogs.
The space
A spectacular newer house in a great location! Pet Friendly (Additional $40 pet deep cleaning fee). The house sleeps up to 5 adults in 2 bedrooms and the second bedroom has a twin pull-out sleeper. The pull-out sleeper works for 2 small kids or 1 adult. There is a bedroom & bathroom on the main entry level, and STAIRS up to the living area with the full kitchen, large dining table, deck with propane bbq, gas fireplace, another bath/bedroom and main living/dining on the upper floor.
If you need more space, the Annex (on the left side of the house) has its own separate entry, 1 bedroom w/queen bed and a sofa bed in the living room, full kitchen/living room, and full bath. The Annex sleeps 4 and the Main Intrepid House (left part of the house in the photo) sleeps 5 adults or 4 adults and 2 small children if they share the twin sofa sleeper.
Registered guests only, please: no additional visitors, couch-sleepers, parties or events without permission.
Guest access
Your code to the key lockbox will be available after booking. The washer/dryer are generally reserved for guests staying more than 3 nights, but contact the local property manager, Merry, if you need it urgently.
Pets are limited to 2 max and may not be left unattended at any time, even if crated. If you haven't already paid the $40 pet fee (you would have received a request for additional services through Airbnb as it is not included in the reservation price), please leave $40 (cash only, no checks) on the counter when you depart.
Interaction with guests
Merry McHale is your host during your stay in Longbeach. She can help with anything and everything you need during your visit. Her contact numbers are in the House Manual and in your Airbnb reservation.

Other things to note
Please note that the Main Living area in the Intrepid House up a flight of stairs. One bedroom is upstairs, the other is on the main floor.
There is a propane barbecue (propane provided) on the deck.
The kitchen has all utensils, dishes, pots, pans, foil, salt/pepper and sugar. Linens are provided for all beds as are towels and washcloths. We do NOT provide beach towels, so please bring yours.
There is a $40 additional cleaning fee for pets as we need to de-allergen deep clean after they visit. If you haven't already paid the pet fee, please leave in on the dining table when you leave.
We book weekends as a two night minimum until 7 days prior to the weekend, in which case a one night stay may be possible. We book single night stays a week in advance.
