Expecting much less for the reasonable price, we were pleasantly surprised by this rental. It was very clean, quiet, the beds comfortable (the futon has been replaced by a very nice sleeper couch), the bathroom large, and the kitchen well-stocked with everything we needed. The location is amazing- literally steps to the beach and this part of the beach is not crowded at all due to it's location on the island. Getting an uber was very slow (there were none on the island and they came over from Sarasota). I'd recommend renting bikes to get around the island. The unit is small, but we had plenty of space for 2 moms and 2 teen girls. Only down side was the early check out and no place to store our luggage, but we worked around that by ubering to Bradenton, renting a car and spending the day kayaking and exploring the Sarasota area before our evening flight home.
It was perfect for our stay.
Our experience was excellent! The area is completely non commercial and the general vibe is great. The property is well placed and kept very clean. Owner is very responsive and his representative was very attentive. We came in after major storm and they tried very hard to make our stay outstanding. I highly recommend this property.
