A jewel on the central Pacific Coast, Puerto Vallarta, in the state of Jalisco, Mexico, offers a Mexican vacation with a blend of the traditional and the modern. The beaches at Puerto Vallarta are of many. Banderas Bay has wide expanses of sand as well as quiet beaches. Marietas Island, located about 20 miles from Puerto Vallarta, is another site favored by divers of all skill levels. The bulk of the reef is located between 15-90 feet, making this an excellent site for beginner divers.
 
Jalisco is located in Western Mexico and it is the capital is Guadalajara. Due to the natural resources and historical monuments and places, it is the most important state in the Mexican city. It is located on the diverse terrain, which includes beaches, forests, planes, and lakes. It is also the seventh largest state of Mexico. Tourist areas in the state are Puerto Vallarta, Guadalajara metro area and the Los Altos Regions. The Guadalajara is famous for its city itself. One more well-known tourist attraction in the state is Tequila Express, which lies between Guadalajara to the town Tequila. The Tequila Valley area is famous for the wine, which is mainly made from the blue agave plant. Puerto Vallarta is a resort city, which is located near Baha de Bandera’s bordered to The Pacific Ocean. Approx. 12 kilometers south of the city, you will see an amazing animal sanctuary named as Los Arcos Marine Natural Area, which is located near Mismaloya. In the west side, you will find the Bay of Bandera and here you will able to see Humpback whales and schools of Dolphins. Puerto Vallarta also has a lot of art museums and galleries. This city also offers you the excellent 5-star resorts, restaurants and shopping which satisfies you fully. The beach in Puerto Vallarta plays an important role in generating the beauty of the city. Some of the famous beaches are Playa Camarones, Playa Olas Atlas, Playa Los Muerto and Playa Boca de Tomates. The local and famous festivals are Flower and Garden Festival, Electro Beach Puerto Vallarta, Los Podas etc.
 
There are two air traffic functions in Puerto Vallarta; international and domestic. You can get flights of all the regions of Mexico and outer area also. National bus lines connect Puerto Vallarta (via the Central Camionera near the Modelo building north of town near the airport) with Guadalajara, Mazatlán, Manzanillo and points beyond. Smaller bus lines are linked to Puerto Vallarta to small coastal and Sierra towns. The Lic. Gustavo Díaz Ordaz International Airport is an International Airport, which provides a facility for traveling in all countries. Three municipal bus unions cover all the area of Puerto Vallarta including the areas Ixtapa, Mismaloya, Pitillal. Taxi facility is also available there.
 
Mexico Federal Highway controls and covered the area of Irapuato, Guanajuato Zapotlanejo and Jalisco. Guadalajara is well connected by modern highways to Mexico City. The Guadalajara rail system, which is known as SITEUR, provides service within Guadalajara and its neighboring cities. The airways facility and vacation rentals are also available and linked with too many places in Mexico. The vacation home rentals are the best mode of accommodation.
