Private Poolside Cabana Available Our brand new poolside cabana (opening November 2020) is now available to rent during your stay. This upper-level modern cabana features wide open sliding glass doors, a flat screen TV, kitchen, full bathroom with waterfall shower (hot shower to wash off right after the beach!), lounge chairs for private sunbathing, beach toys, and a panoramic view of the ocean. Property Amenities and Surrounding Area Activities Your rental includes exclusive use of entire apartment, use of fitness center, concierge and package service, bellhop, Wi-Fi, cable TV expanded channels, valet parking (fees apply), gift shop, coin operated washer/dryer on each floor (some units have private washer dryers (fees apply), heated swimming pool, hot tubs, pool & beach towels daily, lounges and umbrellas at pool. There is a salon and day spa located on the 4th floor. Local activities and attractions include water sports, bicycling, sailing, snorkeling, boating, deep sea fishing, parrot jungle, Seaquarium, Children’s Museum, Theatre, Historic Art Deco district and so much more. Conveniently located just minutes from South Beach and 20 minutes from the Miami International Airport, 10 minutes from the Port of Miami, Brickell and downtown business district. Golf courses and tennis courts nearby, glamorous night life entertainment, including LIV at the Fontainebleau Hotel, Eden Roc, Lincoln Mall, Coconut Grove, the Bal Harbour Shoppe’s and Aventura Mall all minutes away. Please check local websites for all attractions schedules. IMPORTANT INFORMATION- The Alexander has been going through a $25 million renovation which is now substantially completed. For the past few years, prior to the fall of 2020, our guests experienced some of the inconveniences due to these extensive renovations, however in most all cases our guests still gave us 5 star reviews for our superior accommodations and service. Now that most work is completed in the interior of the building there is little inconvenience to expect as you can see from our most recent reviews. Completed work includes new glass balconies, picturesque windows, renovated hallways, updated lobby and mezzanine, and beach pool access corridor. Work will continue on a second pool and amenities deck being built on the mezzanine level through the first half of 2021. Negative prior reviews were, for the most part, from guests who rented from others, and not from us. Its important to understand that no two apartments are alike and that owners of other units in the same building have no requirement to maintain a certain standard. Our company, on the other hand, furnishes and maintains our listings with superior standards and finishes which is why we maintain Super Host status and an average of almost 5 out of 5 star reviews. In the rare event that an unexpected maintenance issue occurs before or during your stay, a unit will be assigned that is comparable in value with similar amenities to the unit reserved.
