We are located about 11 miles from downtown Blowing Rock toward Grandfather Mountain and Linville, NC. This home is accessed by a steep gravel road and driveway. It is plowed in winter, BUT 4WD or AWD vehicles are required November-March and chains may also be necessary to access the property in the winter months. Front wheel drive is recommened all other times.
Our custom and luxurious 3,500 sq. ft. home offers 4 bedrooms, 3 full bathrooms and 1 half bathroom, Wi-Fi (***PLEASE NOTE, Wi-Fi account here has limited amount of monthly bandwith. Therefore please do not use this internet to do any live streaming or large data downloads. Normal usage, email checking, and gaming not requiring large data usage are OK), spectacular long range south facing views overlooking the Pisgah National Forest (you can see the town of Lenoir on a clear night), open floor plan, high tongue and groove ceilings and beautiful hardwood floors throughout! You can hear the mountain stream that runs down the mountain next to and below the property from the deck as you enjoy the breathtaking views. You will find the ultimate sense of relaxation as every room in our home has beautiful views.
We are located between the towns of Linville and historic downtown Blowing Rock. , Appalachian Ski Mountain, Sugar Mountain Ski Resort, and Boone are just minutes away. The Blue Ridge Parkway is around 10 minutes away! Don't forget about the hiking trails of Julian Price Memorial Park and Moses Cone Memorial Park. .Grandfather Mountain
MAIN FLOOR: The master suite with an exquisite master bathroom is on the main level. The master bedroom has a roomy king size bed with views out the windows. The master bathroom has separate his/her sinks, a modern whirlpool jetted tub, a walk-in shower with front facing massaging jets for that ultimate experience, and huge walk in closet.
Our ultimate kitchen is just remarkable. There is plenty of room to prepare that gourmet meal using our gas cook top stove, double oven in the wall, under counter microwave, a porcelain trough sink, and a side by side stainless steel fridge with ice/water dispenser. This kitchen is equipped with most anything you'll need--crock pot, griddle, pots, pans, coffee grinder, coffee pot with a built in espresso machine, blender, and more items in the walk in pantry!!
The dining table can accommodate up to 10 guests and there are 2 bar stools at the kitchen island. The spacious living room has a HD Flat screen TV and a gas fireplace. Step outside onto our covered deck with plenty of seating and take in the fresh and clean mountain air. You won't be sorry!!! The laundry room is also on the main floor along with a half bathroom for convenience.
LOWER LEVEL: There are 3 more bedrooms and 2 full bathrooms on the lower level along with another family room with gas fireplace and large HD flat screen TV. The 2nd bedroom has a king size bed. The 3rd bedroom has a queen size bed and an En Suite bathroom. The 4th bedroom has a king size bed along with 2 twin size trundles under the king bed. Both king size bedrooms has access to the Jack & Jill bathrooms with 2 toilets and one tub/shower combo.
The family will enjoy entertaining down here with a flat screen TV, sitting area, a small kitchen nook with fridge and microwave. Just outside on the deck is a picnic table to enjoy the mountain views.
Check in time is 4:00 pm and Check out is 11:00 am.
