The property is a large 3 Bedroom / 3 (full) Bath home, overlooking the 14th Green of the Montesero golf course and, beyond that, the Borrego Valley and Mountains. It is a warm and comfortable Old California Ranch Style that has recently been renovated inside and out. There are two master suites, one fronting the golf course (king bed), one opening to the entry courtyard (queen), both with large walk-in closets, spacious bathrooms, and generous windows & patio doors.
The open living - dining room has a vaulted, beamed ceiling, and a large brick fireplace that gets lots of use. One entire wall is glass patio doors with views of our desert garden and, beyond that, an unobstructed view to the mountains (telescope included). The kitchen has a homey breakfast nook, also with mountain views. The third bedroom / bath has two twins and its own private patio. All the bedrooms have ceiling fans.
Most of the house opens to patios overlooking the Borrego Mountains. The second bedroom and main entry open to an enclosed patio that gets morning sun: perfect for a leisurely breakfast. The rear of the house has a collection of native plants and cacti, including a few small orange and lemon trees - in season you can pick and squeeze truly fresh orange juice or lemonade.
We have large, Web-enabled flat-screen TVs in the master suite, living room, and third bedroom, a quality DVD/Blue-Ray player in the living room, and a diverse music collection. Media include Satellite and a Netflix subscription for the TVs, and a high-speed wireless internet through the house. Books abound: history, biography, fiction, & local guides.
