Our luxury Colorado style log cabin sits atop a 4500 foot mountain just beyond the quaint town of Banner Elk. Situated ideally between two major NC ski resorts, Sugar and Beech you will have the best of everything. It is a short drive to many local attractions and activities including Grandfather Mountain & Linville Caverns. This area has numerous outdoor adventures to be had, hiking trails, golf courses, tennis courts, fly fishing, horseback riding and most any other outdoor activity you can imagine. Wild Cat Lake is close-by offering volleyball, horseshoes, swimming, canoeing, picnicking and fishing.
Honestly, you may never want to leave the house once you take in the panoramic views from the large deck. Our cabin has everything you need for an enjoyable getaway.
MAIN LEVEL: The master suite has a king size bed, flat screen TV, and luxury spa bath separate soaker tub and walk-in shower along with walk-in closets. It also has private access to the spacious deck and our luxurious 6 person hot tub.
The chef's kitchen with gas range, stainless-steel appliances and is open and inviting. Serve your guests seated at our one-of-a-kind solid redwood dining table with matching benches. Find yourself relaxing in the two-story, exposed beam living area with a wood-burning, river rock fireplace.
This is all adjacent a massive wall of windows giving way to breathtaking long range mountain views. The home is well appointed giving much detail to the furnishings. Enjoy the outdoors as much as the inside. The gas grill, fire pit and outdoor seating will make dining alfresco a must.
UPPER LEVEL: A walk up the split-log stairs you will find two bedrooms, a loft with queen sleeper sofa, as well as a full bath. It is open to the main level with room to spread out. There is a king Aspen log bed and bunks (twin over double) in the larger bedroom along with a flat screen TV. The second bedroom down the hall has a queen bed (no TV).
LOWER LEVEL: Downstairs you will find the game/media room with pool and air hockey tables, and a flat-screen television. The walk-out basement has a dedicated full bath all to itself as well as a gas fireplace. You will also find direct access to the two-car garage and outdoor space. There is ample paved parking for all your guests.
Check in time is after 4:00 pm. Check out time is before 11:00 am.

As you plan your trip to the mountains, please remember we do get rain, snow, ice, and some very foggy days with occasional inconveniences which are out of our control. Winter weather in the Blue Ridge Mountains can occur from November through April. The majority of homes are accessed by mountain roads, which will be icy and slick in winter weather. For the safety of you and your guests, please be prepared to drive in snow and/or ice. THIS MEANS 4-WHEEL DRIVE/AWD, GOOD TIRES, AND CHAINS! IT IS YOUR RESPONSIBILITY TO BE PREPARED FOR HAZARDOUS ROAD CONDITIONS. THERE WILL BE NO REFUNDS RESULTING FROM YOUR NEGLIGENCE IN THIS MATTER!
