Kick back and relax in our wonderful 3 bedroom, 2 bathroom cabin nestled in a peaceful wooded setting. Experience a true mountain escape at our cabin with an awesome hot tub, fire pit. You can stay connected with free Wi-Fi and pets are considered. We are located less than half a mile off Highway 105 with ALL paved access.
Privately and centrally located in the heart of the High Country in the Foscoe community between Boone (7.5 miles) and Banner Elk (10 miles). Conveniently located close to Grandfather Mountain (25 minutes-15 miles), Hawksnest Tubing and Ziplining is around 15 minutes (6 miles) away, Sugar Mountain Ski Resort is approximately 15 minutes (7.2 miles) away, and Beech Mountain Resort is about 30 minutes (15.5 miles). Close to 4 popular golf courses, fishing, Foscoe Gem Mining (1 mile away), (20 minutes-11.5 miles), Blowing Rock (20-25 minutes away), and everything else the High Country has to offer is just a short drive. MAIN LEVEL: The living room offers a 42" flat screen cable TV, wood burning fireplace, and comfy seating. The step-saver kitchen is fully-equipped including a gas cooktop stove and the dining room can seat up to 6 guests.
The master bedroom offers a spacious king size bed, flat screen cable TV, and an En Suite full bathroom. The 2nd bedroom is on this floor as well with a twin over full size bunk bed. The 2nd bathroom is also on the main floor with a tub/shower combo.
UPPER LEVEL: The upper level has a private king size bedroom with cable TV.
OUTSIDE: Enjoy spending time relaxing on our covered deck with views of the forest. Our large 6 person hot tub is on our open deck and everyone will enjoy spending quality time around our fire pit. There is a gas grill for your grilling pleasure as well.
Doe Hollow is pet friendly. We will allow you to bring your four-legged family member with a nonrefundable pet fee of $75 per pet (no more than 2 dogs permited). This pet fee doesn't cover excessive pet hair or damages.
2 night minimum during off peak times
3 night minimum for some holidays like MLK, Labor Day, and the entire month of October (leaf season)
4 night minimum for Thanksgiving
7 night minimum for the July 4th holiday and the Christmas/New Year holidays.
CHECK IN TIME IS AFTER 4:00 PM. CHECK OUT TIME IS BEFORE 11:00 AM.
As you plan your trip to the mountains, please remember we do get rain, snow, ice, and some very foggy days with occasional inconveniences which are out of our control. Winter weather in the Blue Ridge Mountains can occur from November through April. The majority of our homes are accessed by mountain roads, which may be icy and slick during the winter months. For the safety of you and your guests, please be prepared to drive in snow and/or ice. THIS MEANS 4WD/AWD, GOOD TIRES, AND CHAINS! IT IS YOUR RESPONSIBILITY TO BE PREPARED FOR HAZARDOUS ROAD CONDITIONS. THERE WILL BE NO REFUNDS RESULTING FROM YOUR NEGLIGENCE IN THIS MATTER.
