“Piper’s Peak” is the perfect destination if you’re looking for privacy, seclusion, and an escape from all of the hustle and bustle of everyday life! From the deck and all of the main floor, you will be able to take in the amazing breathtaking views of the Blue Ridge Mountains, including Grandfather Mountain! There is an abundant wildlife around with wild turkeys, deer, rabbits, and even the neighbor's cows have made an appearance (fenced area). This home is accessed by a steep gravel road and driveway. It is plowed in winter, BUT 4WD or AWD vehicles are required November-March and chains may also be necessary to access the property in the winter months. Front wheel drive is recommened all other times.
We are located within a 15 minute drive to Boone and about 3 miles to the Blue Ridge Parkway. Experience year round breathtaking views of Grandfather Mountain, Hanging Rock, Appalachian Ski Mountain, Howard's Knob, Rich Mountain, Elk Mountain and Snake Mountain just to name a few. MAIN FLOOR: The main floor features a spacious living room with a leather sectional sofa, large 60” flat screen TV, game/card table, and floor to ceiling windows to allow natural light! The spacious kitchen offers side by side fridge with ice/water dispenser, dishwasher, microwave, wall oven, and a glass top cook stove. The dining area can seat 6-8 guests for that all important family meal. In addition, there is a full bathroom off the laundry area as well.
The master bedroom is also on the main floor with a king size bed, flat screen TV, and an En Suite bathroom. The master bathroom features a jetted whirlpool tub, his/her sinks, a spacious walk in shower with massaging jets along the wall for that ultimate experience. In addition, the bathroom also has a nice towel warmer as well! The cabinets in the master bathroom is reclaimed wormy chestnut wood from a barn from the 1800s.
UPPER FLOOR: The loft area offers additional sleeping with a twin bed and a futon (sleeps 3 in loft), TV with a Wii System and games, and two chairs that are perfect for reading or taking a nap.
LOWER LEVEL: The lower level has 2 more bedrooms. One bedroom offers a twin over full size bunk bed and the other bedroom offers a queen size bed. There is also a full bathroom as well. The garage area offers a ping pong table.
OUTSIDE: You’ll enjoy the views from the front deck. The fire pit is located behind the home with stumps for seating. Enjoy the great outdoors with walking through the woods and exploring Mother Nature. PLUS, indulge yourself in our large and luxurious 8 person hot tub. This is a perfect way to unwind of all day mountain activities of hiking, shopping, fishing, etc.
At "Piper’s Peak", we believe that nobody should be left behind. Why leave your pet at home when you can bring it along for the adventure? Well behaved dogs are welcome for a one-time nonrefundable pet fee of $50/pet for dogs weighing less than 40 pounds or $75/pet for dogs weighing more than 41 pounds.

As you plan your trip to the mountains, please remember we do get rain, snow and some foggy days and occasional inconveniences which are out of our control. Winter weather in theBlue Ridge Mountains can occur from November through April. The majority of our homes are accessed by mountain roads, which will be icy in winter weather. For the safety of you and your party, please be prepared to drive in snow and ice. This means 4-wheel drive, good tires, and chains. It is your responsibility to be prepared for hazardous road conditions. There will be NO refunds, allowances, or date changes resulting from your negligence in this matter.
