Heron House is a modernized home situated in a picturesque setting under towering maples on the Grand River, a favorite nesting place of the Great Blue Heron.
This inviting home is conveniently located on the edge of Caledonia, within a short driving distance of Hamilton airport, Lake Erie and the Niagara Region. There are many choices for shopping, theatre, wine tours, sightseeing and recreational activities such as golfing, boating and swimming. Racing fans will find we are only fifteen minutes away from both Cayuga Speedway and Kohler's Dragway Park.
Guests can also enjoy the local craft shops in Caledonia and on the nearby Six Nations Indian Reserve. Nature lovers can take a stroll or ski beside the river through nearby Seneca Park and on a developing part of the Trans Canada Trail. Our location is a great starting point for your canoe trip down our heritage river or for casting your fishing line!
