Enjoy spending time in the Blue Ridge Mountains of North Carolina while relaxing in the 6 bedroom, 3 bathroom chalet. It's large enough for your entire family, church group, or ski buddies. Located only 20 minutes from downtown Boone, ASU, or West Jefferson, you are close to everything: Canoeing, kayaking, bike riding, horse back, shopping, dining, skiing, Todd General Store, and everything else. There are 2 large covered decks while taking in the majestic long range views.
There are 2 bedrooms on the main level, 1 king and 1 queen, along with one full bathroom. Up stairs is a private queen bedroom and bathroom and another queen bed in the loft bedroom. As you journey downstairs in to the recently remodeled basement, there is a sitting area with TV with DVD player (no network or cable channels), new gas fireplace, 2 twin beds, and a large private queen size bedroom with a full bathroom.
Its central location in Fleetwood Falls, which is in Southern Ashe County, is a skip away from the Blue Ridge Parkway. Buena Vista is also located just minutes from Todd General Store where during summer, you can enjoy home grown blue grass music every Friday. Appalachian Ski Mountain is approx. 35 scenic minutes away.
This rustic chalet is perfect for a large family on a small budget. Why leave your pet at home when you can bring it along for the adventure of a lifetime? Well behaved dogs are welcome for a one time nonrefundable pet fee of $50/pet for dogs weighing less than 40 pounds or $75 for dogs weighing more than 41 pounds. Service animals are always welcomed.
As you plan your trip to the mountains, please remember we do get rain, snow and some foggy days and occasional inconveniences which are out of our control. Winter weather in the Blue Ridge Mountains can occur from November through April. The majority of our homes are accessed by mountain roads, which will be icy in winter weather. For the safety of you and your party, please be prepared to drive in snow and ice. This means 4-wheel drive, good tires, and chains. It is your responsibility to be prepared for hazardous road conditions. There will be NO refunds, allowances, or date changes resulting from your negligence in this matter.
There is a 2 night minimum for off peak seasons (sorry but no 1 night rentals)
3 night minimum for holidays and the entire month of October
4 night minimum for the Thanksgiving holiday
7 night minimum for the July 4th and Christmas/New Year holidays
Check in time is 4:00 pm or after and check out time is 11:00 am.
