Sunrise Island Cottage is in one of the best locations found in Cocoa Beach, Florida. Guests can walk to the beach which is a (short) 3 blocks to the beach access for a fun filled day of sun bathing and beach activities. Or, walk 1.5 blocks from the cottage to the Banana River and popular Mangrove State Park called “The Thousand Islands.” From this Park local tour companies launch “kayak tours” both day and night from the park ramps for tourists to experience the wildlife that make the famous mangroves their home. Including a variety of birds, dolphins, and manatee’s along with native marine life living throughout the aquatic paradise. The Park also has public restrooms, picnic tables, a large playground, and tennis courts, and all within walking distance from the Sunrise Cottage.
The cottage listed is a back unit that includes a large private back yard that is fully fenced, a patio that is furnished with an outside table and chairs, gas grill, night time lighting, and (private) outside shower with hot and cold water.
Inside the cottage has updated (comfortable) furnishings and a fully equipped kitchen with all the essentials of home. There is one bedroom with a king size bed and another with a queen size bed and a third bedroom on the opposite side of the unit that has two twin beds, armoire with tv and DVD player and a small 2 person table for additional eating space or activities for the kids.
There is a full size bathroom and a laundry area with washer and dryer. Guests who rent the cottage will have access to beach towels, beach chairs, umbrella, beach cart, cooler-on-wheels, and beach toys to use for the kids.
