Sanibel Beach – Beautiful beaches and one can easily find a spot of their own. Pay parking is common.

Outlet Malls – Miromar Outlets have 140 stores. Outdoor atmosphere – perfect for Florida.
Manatee Park: This is located by the power plant – the Manatee love the hot water. You can rent a canoe or kayak and get closer to the Manatee.
BUSCH GARDENS:
MIAMI WEEKEND CRUISES: There are some really good weekend cruises departing from Miami and FortLauderdale. You can drive there in a little under three hours. This is a great change of scenery and a lot of fun.
EVERGLADES: We found the airboat rides to be quite loud and it isn’t quite like the movies. There are several operators in a very small area in everglades city. There are some interesting areas where you can see Alligators quite close up along the side of the road.
KEY WEST EXPRESS: Interesting way to get to key west from Fort Myers

Love Boat Ice Cream– 16229 San Carlos Boulevard Fantastic ice cream – this place has been in Fort Myers forever – sizes are VERY large
Edison Restaurant – 3583 McGregor Boulevard - Home style food – the pot roast is amazing. They have a great happy hour where beer is a bargain
Papa Johns - 3412 Cleveland Avenue – two blocks from the condo and really good pizza.
Steak and Shake – there are several around Fort Myers – it is really a hamburger joint with lots of interesting milk shakes etc.
Blue Sushi – 13451 Mcgregor Blvd # 23 Very busy and very good.
