We had an amazing time from the time we booked. Elaine could have not been more helpful. It was our family of 10 first time to the Outer Banks Location was just perfect. The pool was just plain fun and so nice to have! Highly recommend this property to anyone A good time was had by all!
The house sits back off in like a little chubby hole, away from the main drive. This was especially cozy. The grandkids thoroughly enjoyed the pool and the playground and the hugh sand box located just off the playground. The adults had 2 decks to sit and enjoy watching the kids play when we were not on the beach. Eileen took special care of us. We had a slight issue come up around 9pm our first night there but she was Johnny on the spot and had us settled down for our first night in the house with ease. Thank you eileen. The Mayhew/ Martin families appreciated you.
This property is exactly how it appears online. Very clean, spacious. Plenty of room for everyone. The walk to the beach was very quick, close to stores and restaurants. We had 8 kids with us and there was something for all of them to do to keep busy. I would definitely stay here again.
We had a family vacation, first time to the Outer Banks! All of us had so much fun, the house was fantastic, it was so nice to have the pool and the beach was awesome! We would love to rent again someday!

The Location is top notch but the house needs some TLC. Pros: -Great Location - 5 mins walk to beach. 2 min drive to grocery store. -Pool and Hot tub (both were clean and serviced) -Kitchen had all required items to cook. -House was clean and tidy Cons: -The outside of the property needs some serious TLC and love. The deck needs a total redo, there were nails and boards sticking out all over. Couldnt walk barefoot to and from the pool or hot tub. -The sand in the pictures is virtually no longer there. It is overgrown and needs updating. -The swing set is very old (we didnt have children in our group but wouldnt have allowed them on it) -There was a gas grill but it didnt have a tank (one wasnt even provided to refill) -All of the furniture for the patio and pool is old and rusted and faded. We had to find the umbrellas. In many ways it looked like the house hadnt really been cleaned up for the new season and as we rented for memorial day we were the first to arrive. It was a little disappointing but our group was easy. There is plenty of space to congregate in the common areas which we did like.The pool also gets sun for most of the day too. Overall a C+/B- - the price is relatively economical but a little upkeep on the outside (which is why people go to the outer banks) would go a LONG way.
