SODA CREEK FARM - NEW FOR 2015!

 

Want to really get away?  Want to tell somebody you are out in the North Forty and really be out in the north forty?  This is the place. Soda Creek farm is 1 1/2 miles up Soda Creek Rd which is three miles south of Dunsmuir and a world apart from any city.  The rustic house has three bedrooms and two full baths. The downstairs bedroom has one Queen Bed.  One upstairs bedroom has two Full Beds and the other bedroom has one Queen Bed.  Both bathrooms have a tub/shower.  There is satellite TV in two bedrooms and a large flat screen TV in the living room. The kitchen is classic farm house with a wood burning stove as well as a modern one. It is fully equipped with lots of extras.  The music system on the deck is a nice touch for sitting outside.  The A/C for those few days that need it, is portable.  The fireplace is more than adequate to heat the whole house, but there are also space heaters.  You can get an idea from the pictures.  However, unless you grew up on a farm or visited one often, like the homestead my grandfather carved out of the Oregon Mountains, you will have to experience it to fully appreciate it.

 

Pets are OK. $20 minimum, or $6 per night.
