The view is absolutely amazing. You can even watch turtles passing by from the pool. Paul was very helpful and took care of all of the transportation details. The house is clean and spacious.
This property is on one of the highest points of the island of Anguilla and has incredible views of the ocean and of Crocus Bay which turned out to be one of our go-to beaches during our 8 night stay. The property is fully equipped with everything you possibly need, and the home construction itself is top of the line. Our rental included a minivan rental for the entire stay, and our host arranged the rental, our ferry from St. Maarten, as well as all other details of our stay plus sent great information about Anguilla, local sights, grocery stores, and restaurants. The assistance of this property owner went far and above anything we expected, and you could not possibly get more for your money without booking with a high end tour company. The host had staff on the island who were available as needed and took superb care of us. Our traveling party included my wife and three teenagers plus two teenage friends, and everyone completely enjoyed themselves. I highly recommend this property to anyone looking at Anguilla who wishes to stay in a private residence. Kudos to this owner for providing a wonderful experience for my family!
This was our third time staying at GOC, it is still just as spectacular. You really don't want to leave the villa even though you have some of the most spectacular beaches in the world. I think we spent two days where we never left, we hope to do it again SOON!!
This villa is exactly as pictured and was immaculate. Such a slice of heaven for me and my kids over spring break, and Paul couldn't have made the process or the trip more smooth. It's perched above beautiful Crocus Bay, with a great beach/calm waters below, and a great restaurant ( Davida) which also allows use of their chairs and rental of water equipment. We paddle boated to Little Bay & enjoyed an isolated beach. Loved how the house had little nooks with hammocks and lounge chairs off of each room, and the pool is stunning. Must do's: day trip to Prickly Pear, sunset cruise with Calypso. Catch the sunset at dinner at Four Seasons restaurant, casual dinner on the beach at Blanchard's, breakfast on the beach at Straw Hat on Mead's Bay. We are in love with Anguilla, and Paul helped arrange everything so we didn't have to stress. I would rent this home again in a hearbeat!
Our group of 7 (two families) stayed for 8 nights at Grand Outlook Castle. Everything was perfect. It was our third trip to Anguilla, but our first time at GOC. We would definitely return. The view was amazing, the pool was perfect, and we loved the hammocks! Paul offered lots of assistance with arranging transport to Anguilla from SXM, and to the Castle from the ferry. The staff was great, helpful but not intrusive. A great location to explore the rest of Anguilla as well!
This was our second visit to the Castle (previous time was in 2017 before Hurricane Irma). My wife and I have stayed at many villas throughout the Caribbean over the past 35 years and we have stayed at other properties on Anguilla. We had another relaxing and memorable stay at the Castle. The team has done an incredible job restoring the Castle, given how damaging Hurricane Irma was. The new ice maker works great! The kitchen is still very well equipped, and we ended up eating most of our meals there once again this time so that we could enjoy the sunset views and relax around the pool all day and evening. The grocery stores are still very well stocked, and we were able to find everything we needed. The internet continues to work very well, and we had no problem using our iPhones for several important calls back home using the WIFI internet phone capability on our iPhones. We went for long walks almost every morning, and felt very safe. While there is still work being done around the island, Anguilla has made tremendous progress compared to what we saw in St. Martin. We had no problem finding many old restaurants we had visited before, as well as some new ones. The Anguilla beaches are still some of the prettiest I have seen in the world. Rolyn, the housekeeper, and Vivian, the gardener, are still there and continue to do a fantastic job. They are both very friendly and helpful, and very respectful of our privacy. Paul and Elise were delightful to work with again in planning our return trip, assisting with arrival and departure forms, ferries, and car rentals. We enjoyed our time at the Castle, and we look forward to our return visit!!
