The house sits at the end of the road with unobstructed views of the marsh and the beach. Pyramid Pointe takes full advantage of the natural beauty that surrounds it, with glass walls in every room facing the ocean, balconies off of each of the three levels, and a large covered porch along the entire creekside of the house. Whether you are watching birds or dolphins in the marsh, or looking out to sea, inside or out, you will be able to appreciate the breathtaking views and tranquility of our unique location.

 

The house itself, designed to compliment the natural surroundings, combines the privacy of three bedrooms, each with a full bath, with spacious living and dining areas, including a dining table that comfortably seats twelve. The living area includes both a sitting area and a TV area, which includes satellite HDTV. WiFi broadband is provided.

 

Access to Eddingsville beach is an easy walk or bike ride through the Jeremy Cay community, or a quick paddle or boat ride through the marsh. We have kayaks and/or motorized boats and bicycles for rent. Access to the beach is restricted and it is never crowded. Shells and fossilized sharks teeth are plentiful. Our dock is right behind the house, which provides both easy access to the water, and also a great place to sit and watch the abundant life in the marsh.

 

The marsh itself is also a wonderful place to explore. From the house you can motor or paddle all the way to Frampton Inlet – a great place to find shells, picnic, or check out the uninhabited island across the channel.

 

Fishing, shrimping and crabbing can be done from our dock thirty feet from the porch. The creek is accessible by boat or kayak 24 hours a day. Dolphins patrol the creek daily, swimming within 30 feet of the porch and within feet of the dock.

 

Enjoy the unobstructed view of the beach from decks located on every level with a master bedroom deck 3 stories from the ground. Or relax in the 2 person swinging chair or a rocker on the covered porch while you gaze out on miles of marsh while enjoying the constant sea breeze.

 

One of the things we love most about Edisto is the fresh local seafood and produce. From the house you will be able to see the shrimp boats that will be delivering their catch to the local seafood markets that day. Our fully equipped kitchen and infrared grill allow you to take full advantage of these delights, although you will also have access to excellent ready made local specialties to eat at home as well as several restaurants.

Edisto itself offers golf, a state park with several miles of trails for hiking or biking, charter fishing, gift stores, and public beaches. Charleston, with all of its historical sites, fine dining, and aquarium is an easy 45 minute drive.
