The Shipwrecked house is anything but! This professionally decorated luxurious beach house was built with large families and groups in mind. There is an open deck around the 10 x 20 pool as well as a covered porch those needing a break from the sun. It is an ideal location to watch the sun set or rise while relaxing, too! There is a dune walkover for an easy trek to the Gulf.
The Living Room (with a 70" TV) and Dining Room are overlooking the pool and Gulf. There is a half bath behind the Elevator. The Gourmet Kitchen with granite counters is set up for catered events with eat-in bar; Kitchen has 2 Dishwashers, 2 Sinks, Electric Glass Top Stove, 2 full size ovens and microwave. There is a large refrigerator in the kitchen and another in the Butler's pantry next to the kitchen with more prep area. Besides the additional large refrigerator and separate ice machine, there is a pantry with plentiful space, and a washer and dryer. The large dining area and bar are set up to accommodate everyone for those meals together, creating precious moments to reconnect and creating memories. You will want to keep coming back! This 1st Floor has a gulf front Bedroom with King and built in Twin. This master bath has a Jacuzzi and separate shower, and double sinks vanity. The second Bedroom has a King bed with a Private Bathroom that is Handicap Friendly.
Upstairs, a second living area is ideal for the group that wants to watch a different movie or game on the 65" TV, than those downstairs. This living room has a couch, Sleeper Sofa and a Sleeper chair. The second floor has 6 bedrooms and 5 bathrooms. There are 3 king bedrooms on the Gulf side with spectacular views. Two of them have an additional built in twin bed with a view of the gulf, ideal for stargazing or watching for pirates and shipwrecks! Each has its own private bath. The rooms with the King/twin bedding have showers only. The master king has a deep soaking tub. The north side of the house has two bunk rooms as well as another queen bedroom with a twin bunk. This bedroom has a private bathroom. The bunk rooms share the hall bathroom.
Come see our sugar white sands that are ideal for building sand castles! Stroll up the beach and see remnants of a shipwrecked hull on the beach and dream of pirates and scenes of the past. Go down to Fort Morgan, a Civil War era fort with museum. Take the ferry over to Dauphin Island and visit the Estuarium and Fort Gaines. Bring your boat and fishing gear or take advantage of one of the many charter boats. This area is rich in history and ready for fun and relaxation. Whether you are just getting away, having a family reunion, planning a wedding on the beach, or enjoying a fishing trip, the Shipwrecked house is ideal!
Wedding Info: The Space under the house Is available for the Wedding and or Reception. Tents are permitted directly in front of the home, but must be removed at dusk. At no time may the amount of people inside the home exceed the maximum occupancy amount. If wedding guests exceed the maximum number of cars allowed, shuttle service will need to be arranged by wedding party. City Noise Ordinance Requires that after 10 PM Is "Quiet Time"/NON REFUNDABLE WEDDING FEE $500/Description written according to plans - amenities maybe subject to change.
