Luxurious Lake & Mountian views, Crows Nest a view to die for

The home is just beautiful and is Just as it looks in the pictures. We had a very relaxing time and want to go back soon. The view just couldn't get any better! Everything is plentiful in the house, dishes, linen's, etc. Just bring your clothes and don't forget your swim suit for the hot tub. This was our first real family vacation. When I say a real family vacation I'm not talking about going away for the many weekend getaways that we have done in the past. I'm talking about an 11 hour drive to an area that we weren't fimiliar with and not really knowing what to expect. This was our first time using VRBO and when we had came across this amazing home that was discovered by our 12yr. old daughter Brionna we knew right away that this was our vacation home. I had emailed Tom about the availability of the home and how to go about paying for the vacation, he was extremely quick on responding to the email. But when we had gotten to the house it exceeded our expectations. The pictures don't give this amazing home justice. Not only do the pictures not give this amazing home justice the scenery is to die for. I had spoken to Beth on a few occasions on certain things that we may need for the vacation and she had told me that we would only need our clothes and toothbrush. Wow..again...WOW she wasn't exaggerating. As I had said before this was our first real vacation so I had brought everything that I could think of.. bandaids, tinfoil, bug spray,laundry detergent, dryer sheets,Q tips, etc..but they had everything that I had brought. The first thing that we did after getting to the house was go to the grocery store witch is less that 10 minutes from the house to get some food for the week so that we could use the amazing kitchen. We had rented jetskis about 10 minutes away. We went tubing down the river about a 50 minutes ride. There is plenty of things to do but the thing that I recommend most is to just enjoy this beautiful home. We had especially loved the patio area at night we'd have all the windows opened just listen to the beautiful sounds of the crickets. In our eyes this was a little slice of heaven. Thank you so very much to Tom and Beth for the opportunity to have such an amazing vacation. We would recommend your home to everyone and anyone who is thinking about going on a vacation. When the Lord blesses me with the winning lottery ticket I will be getting a hold of Tom and Beth for the blue prints of their home. Yeah that's how much we enjoyed their home. My husband and I just spent an entire week in this beautiful home and I feel so compelled to share our experience. I know how much reviews mean to me when I am looking for a vacation spot. I devour them looking for the perfect place. Well, let me tell you; this is it. From the quick responses of our hosts, Beth and Tom......to the luxurious home and incredible view; everything was amazing. The pictures of the house itself are spot on. It is gorgeous. Upscale and beautiful, everywhere you look. But the outside is so hard to capture. We spent most of our time trying however! The glass/screened in porch is so perfect for just watching nature at its finest. We found ourselves staring at the mountains and lake and rolling hills with cattle for hours. Each day the scenery changed with the fog and clouds moving through the hills. Absolutely beautiful. There was plenty of activity on the lake as well.....boaters, skiers, Sea-dos. Pretty much mesmerizing. And then there were the deer. They came right up each day to the back of the property.......so lovely and graceful. We even saw two little "bambis" and a buck. As you can tell, I could go on and on....but suffice it to say, if nature is your thing and you are looking for beauty and comfort, this rental will not let you down. And for those who hate tons of steps to climb when bringing in all their belongings........no problem. One level; really a plus. I am an avid cook and found the kitchen to be very well stocked. Our bed was very comfy too. Great linens..........oodles of towels. Did I say perfect? And if you want to venture out (which might be difficult) there are plenty more incredible views and things to do. Brasstown Bald, Helen Ga, Hiawassee and other lovely spots are nearby. And groceries and restaurants are just minutes away. A treasure trove of everything you need for a perfect vacation. We were both so sad to have to leave that I literally broke down in tears When it came time to say "goodbye." I wanted to etch this view on my mind and just maybe I have! All I can say is, if you are looking for a getaway in God's beautiful surroundings.........don't hesitate. We looked at so many properties in the area and decided on this one and would go back in a New York minute. In fact, we just might do that this fall. This home is to die for!! The pictures do not do it justice. And the views are awesome!! We were there 8 days & only left the home twice!! Everyday the leaves turned just a little bit more. I think I enjoyed the peacefulness most. We loved how the home was laid out. This is actually the layout of my dream home. And the kitchen is awesome. Tom & Beth had all of the essentials stocked, and they were very easy to get in touch with & to deal with. I can not put in to words how beautiful this home and the surroundings are. My husband and I along with our two daughters spend the whole week this summer at this beautiful home. It was our third time in NC and we simply fell in love with it and the beautiful area .The house was perfectly situated in a very private area, with amazing lake and mountain view. We spent hours on the lanai where thanks to beautiful full wall windows, we could stay even late at night or when it was raining and just admire the gorgeous view. We saw few dears and wild turkeys which was pretty amazing!The house is simply perfect, just like on the pictures. It is extremely comfortable and very luxurious: all the rooms are beautifully decorated, kitchen is well stocked with all the necessary gadgets. The owners Beth and Tom, made sure we had everything we needed and Beth even surprised us with a very yummy home made zucchini bread. We took few trips around the area: went to Franklin to visit few waterfalls, Helen GA, Hiawasee GA, rented a boat and fell in love with Chatuge lake and did lots of hiking. There is so much to do in the area that we don't think a month would be enough to do it all. We truly had an amazing time and will definitely be back in a near future. Thank you Beth and Tom!!! Beautiful home, beautifully furnished. The view from the large screened room is breathtaking, overlooking miles of mountains and Lake Chatuge. Beth and Tom are kind, thoughtful hosts who respect the privacy of their guests. This rental exceeded our expectations. Even the most selective renters will be pleased.
