This place is like poetry yet I am at a loss for words, Solitude, Peace Comfort ~ so much more than we expected. Incredible views, sounds of nature like music to the soul all night long , a peaceful lullaby. The view leaves you speechless. Sunrise viewing from your bed, Sunset from multiple places on property will blow your mind. Secluded beach front shades in the early hours with afternoon sun ~ healing land, every step is an adventure. Healing body mind soul. We walked the trails daily & saw many varieties of birds, praying mantis’, crabs, lizards, and more, so delightful We are very thankful for the hosts who are willing to share their paradise, we will be back for sure. Carlos & Jodi are great special people who put together amazing meals that we are now only dreaming about. Forever Thankful for such a wonderful experience!
The room was a little sparse but the service was exceptional. Geno was a perfect host. He knew the area and was generous with his knowledge. He was helpful and went out of his way to make us as comfortable as possible. The only thing close to complaint is an old pet peeve of mine. Rooms should not be referred to as "Studios" or "Apartments" unless they meet minimal furniture requirements. The room was furnished with a bed, end tables and one chair. No small couch, second chair or table for eating and playing cards. That being said we had a great time in San Poncho thanks to the people at Arbol and I would recommend Staying with them..
It's cozy, and great for couples who will not be spending much time in the room. Location is very convenient and close to everything. Cleaning ladies were efficient and polite. Loved the water filter!
