#511-1 The Alaska Nantucket House is perched at the top of Knob Hill overlooking the downtown harbor in the heart of Historic Ketchikan. The house is only about 2 blocks to walk to the center of downtown. There is a breathtaking panoramic view from nearly every room of the house and you can see for miles in either direction. You can watch float planes, ferries, fishing vessels, cruise ships, and private yachts pass before your unobstructed view of the downtown harbor. There are 2 private decks and a balcony with amazing views of the Tongass Narrows and Deer Mountain. This 4 bedroom house is large with 2,000 sq ft of living space, the main living area has 2 bedrooms, a large modern kitchen, a living room, a bathroom and a separate den/office. On the upper floor of the house is a beautiful master bedroom suite that we call the Penthouse.  Each of the 4 bedrooms with a total of 3 queen size beds and 1 extra long twin bed. The Penthouse also has a queen size sofa bed as well as a small kitchen, a sitting area and a private bathroom. There are large glass doors in the penthouse that roll open to the balcony that overlooks the harbor. **This property is a duplex with a smaller apartment on the lower floor that is occupied by a long term guest. This property is completely non-smoking. Children over the age of 13 are welcome. The property is not appropriate for young children.
