This is a great location and the house is better equipped than any place I have stayed before. If you like to cook it’s all here. Personally I liked eating from the Market of Choice. Great great place

Had an awesome time staying here with 4 adults (two couples) and two dogs. Really appreciated the fenced yard and clean, well stocked bathrooms and kitchen. Enjoyed some of the DVD's and loved the location.
Great home! I visit Bend regularly and I just found my favorite place to stay. The home is exceptionally well appointed with excellent appliances and supplies. The remodeled kitchen is a dream to work in and open to the living area — harder to find in a small home. The location makes for a very short walk to the heart of the city. We just returned from a great trip to Bend! The house was in a great location---Walking distance to many breweries/restaurants/shops and a quick drive to the Old Mill. House is in great condition, nice area and the kitchen is amazing! TONS of small things that made our visit great also (waffle iron, coffee pot, reading material on Bend, and LOTS of DVD's). I highly recommend this to anyone!--thanks for a great experience!
WOW! The pictures do not do this little beauty justice. Inside is completely remodeled with an excellent floor plan that makes it impossible to believe the small number of actual square feet. We had a 10 person early-Christmas party and everyone was very comfortable. Super amenities with plenty of kitchen extras. Plenty of extras everywhere in fact! Fireplace heats the whole house and we were cozy through many snow days. Craig, the owner, was super friendly and helpful and we felt like this was our own home for a week. Easy walks to downtown, the Old Mill and the river made it a "no car" necessary stay. My brother lives just down the street and with how great this place was I see no need to look for other accomodations on future visits. We'll see you again!
We have stayed in this wonderful, little house two times this year and in two different seasons. Our first visit to this house was in September, and we immediately fell in love with this beautifully remodeled Spanish style home. The pictures in VRBO were exactly as everything looked in person; when we walked into the home it was just like coming home. This little house was very clean, and had everything anyone would need to have to enjoy their stay. We spent the days walking all over Bend, and managed to find wonderful places to eat, such as Brother John’s Alehouse, as well as many breweries within walking distance to the house, with Boneyard Brewery just down the street, we could walk there and fill up our growler to bring home. We would also recommend the new brewery, Crux, which is in the old mill district, just a few blocks from the house. In the evenings we barbequed dinners and ate outside on the patio, and then took long walks on the river. Our December trip was just as delightful, we walked through the snow covered city, enjoyed McMenamins outside bar with the roaring fires, and had a most beautiful white Christmas. The house was extremely cozy, and we found movies, and games to play. We would absolutely recommend this home to anyone looking to spend time in Bend.
This little house is just about perfect! The flow of the living room and kitchen were outstanding with plenty of space to move around and mingle with friends. Walking to town is a breeze and the neighborhood is quiet. The house is stocked with just about anything that you might possible need and the backyard is fenced for pups. This is now our designated rental for trips to Bend.
My husband and I enjoyed two lovely weeks in this charming house. Absolutely spotless, a fantastic location, an amazing kitchen (I have kitchen envy...it had EVERYTHING you would need!), shady backyard for relaxing at the BBQ, lovely seating area out front...perfect. We can hardly wait to return. Craig was very responsive to our questions, and had some great ideas to add to our enjoyment of Bend. We have rented many places over the years through VRBO and this was top-notch. Walking distance to town and restaurants, the Mill district, storage for bikes, quiet neighborhood. We did a lot of hiking, mountain biking, road riding. Enjoyed a great show at the amphitheatre, free musical Sunday afternoons, farmers' markets and the Cascade bike event. We had to come home for a rest, we were so busy! Great house, great town, great owners. Many thanks.
I'm sure you've seen all the FIVE STAR reviews below mine.....I am in total agreement! What a great house! I will stay here every year! (Yes, Bend is amazing!) The kitchen is more than fully stocked, along with a BBQ right out the back door. The linens were soft, and the home was clean and comfortable. The walkability score on this home would probably fall in the 90-95 area...Easy to get anywhere, including right over to the river in minutes. Even my little dog felt at home in the fully fenced back yard! These folks really know how to create a great vacation environment!
Looks are deceiving in regards to how small the home appears! The living room/kitchen area is wonderful for gathering! Speaking of the kitchen, it was PERFECT! Modern, full of every utensil you'd ever imagine needing, and beautiful! The beds were comfy and the gas fireplace heated the home well (just be patient!) The neighborhood is so friendly and every house is unique! If there were one way to make this place even more perfect....it would be a hot tub! :) The owner was so easy to work with and accepted text messages when we had questions! We'll definitely be back to this little beauty!
LOVED our stay here. You can basically walk to everything in downtown Bend from this cottage. It is also walking distance to a great grocery store which has some nice made-to-order hot food options and anything you may have forgotten to pack for your trip. Picnic tables out front and back were comfy even during the hot days of August thanks to the shaded backyard. We hardly used the air con. Kudos to whomever cleans this place because it was spotless!
Bright and cute house - the owners went above and beyond to what I would have expected from a vacation rental. Super clean with a very large smartly remodeled kitchen, well-furnished with everything to make us feel comfortable, including an extensive movie selection. The three of us had plenty of space and took advantage of preparing great meals! We slept very well in the comfortable beds! Thanks for letting us stay here.
There were only 3% of the rentals available when I got around to finding a place in Bend to meet my Daughter and her friend, so I was a little hesitant about booking such a small house. It was a pleasant surprise to see how roomy it was and so comfortably accommodated. This little home sees to your every need, and is perfectly situated for walking to great breweries and restaurants. We loved it, you won't be disappointed.
This house is in a great little neighborhood within walking distance to downtown and Crux. There were four of us girls that slept comfortably and plenty of room for a long weekend. The house has everything you need including coffee and creamer.
Spent 5 days at this adorable house. It's so convenient to everything. We didn't need to drive at all in town. This house is immaculate! Everything is perfectly organized and easy to access. The kitchen is gorgeous! If you want to cook, nothing is missing and it's all top notch. (wish I could have moved the whole kitchen to my house.) The bedrooms with the full & 1/2 bath back to back worked great for us. I highly recommend it.
Amazing warm & cozy home in a great location. It's within walking distance to the Old Mill District & Downtown Bend featuring many restaurants & fun stores for browsing. The house has a beautiful well stocked kitchen. The fireplace keeps the house warm on chilly days & nights. The owner, Jamie, was friendly & helpful. My experience was so enjoyable that my dog & I found it so very hard to leave. Would love the opportunity to stay here again in the future.
Loved the location that allowed for the quiet of a neighborhood but still a short 5-10 minute walk to downtown. We also used the house as a base to sled and ski at Mt Bachelor which was a short 40 min car drive away. The house and in particular the kitchen has all the amenities we needed and more to cook and watch movies in the evening. We brought our dog and we were pleasantly surprised to also find a fenced backyard where she could hang out when we were home. Main bedroom shares wall with kitchen which was a little noisy when one of our family was still up one night, but as we generally all go to bed at the same time wasn’t a big deal for us. Owner was helpful and texted us eating and walking recommendations before our stay. Overall very happy with our stay!

We loved this property! Located within easy walking distance of downtown, Old Mill District and the river. Restaurants, shopping and recreation galore. Home was super comfortable and fully stocked. House was great for our dog with the fenced back yard. Most area restaurants with outdoor seating allow dogs to join you. We'll be back!
Whelp, we have found our spot for all our Bend trips!! The location of this sweet little bungalow can’t be beat! Walking distance to everything! The property was quiet, charming, super great communicative owners, clean and the kitchen is way bigger in person! The bedroom are small but hey, you just sleep in them! Perfect place for 2 couples or A couple and some kiddos....not to mention dog friendly!!! We will 100% be back!!! Thank you!!!
