We rented this house for 8 adults and 3 little kids for a long weekend in October 2018, and really loved every minute of our stay. We were looking for a house that was on the beach, but being four houses away was still incredibly convenient. The proximity to the beach is unparalleled. There was plenty of space for our large group, the shared space was awesome for cooking, eating, and hanging out. Loved the pool area...the pool was heated, the outdoor space was partly shaded, and the hot tub was amazing. The only feedback we had was that the pin for this house on Florida Rentals shows it on the north end of the island when it's really located on the south end, and that the house was clearly a rental (not usually lived in), lacking in some normal kitchen supplies, dishwasher and laundry detergent, and seating on the patios. Overall it was excellent, and we would definitely rent this house again!
We really enjoyed Mermaid's Landing on Bradenton Beach this past weekend! We had a group of families getting together for a reunion - a last hurrah before school starts. The house is new, clean, beautiful, and well-equipped. We had no need of anything during our stay. The only problem was red tide on the beach, but that's not something in their control, and we used the pool and hot tub more as a result. Everything was great and we look forward to returning!
