HOUSE RULES: Thank you in advance for your awareness and respect during your stay.
1. We agree that we do not accept groups of single men due to past experience. We do accept groups of single women, families, groups of friends, groups of surfers and/or retreats, etc.
2. We are Pet Friendly but you must always request prior authorization to bring your pet (we do not accept aggressive pets or pets with behavioral problems). Please do not bring your pet without authorization.
3. Smoking is prohibited inside the house. We do allow smoking outside, but please use the ashtray and be careful with furniture and objects.
4. Please avoid at all costs bringing sand into the house, it is very corrosive. When you return from the beach leave your clothes and towels with sand on the outside line and rinse off in the outdoor shower by the pool, we emphasize that we do not allow sand in the bathrooms of the house.
5. It is not permitted, for any reason, to take our towels off the property. Neither for use on the beach nor at check out.
6. We strongly ask you to take care of the kitchen, please take care of the utensils, do not break them, always try to wash the dishes when you finish with them, this way you will avoid attracting insects or animals that can affect and damage your stay.
7. Remember that some kitchen utensils, like pans, rice cooker, slow cooker, etc; should only be used with wooden or plastic spoons to avoid damaging them.
8. We are Pet Friendly but we do not accept for any reason that pets are on the beds or couches, remember any damage caused by you or your pet is your responsibility and you must assume it.
9. Guests are not allowed to use the laundry room. We offer laundry service for an additional cost and our team will be the only one authorized to do your laundry.
10. Please hang your damp towels where they belong, never place them on top of furniture or beds, as humidity damages wood and fabrics quickly in this climate.
11. It is important to turn off the air conditioning when no one is using it. Try to keep it off when you are not in your room.
 Be conscious and ecological.
12. We do not allow lighted candles in the house because it can derive many risks. Instead we have essential oil diffusers for ambiance and fragrance, and dim fairy lights.
13. No sand or glass is allowed in the pool. Whenever you are going to swim in the pool you must use the shower to rinse yourself first, this way the pool water is kept fresh and clean for your own comfort.
14. It is forbidden for unregistered guests to enter the house. If you wish to bring a person who is not registered or in your Airbnb group you must inform us in advance and is subject to approval (an extra charge per person will be charged if approved). Remember that we are entitled to refuse entry to any guest who is or is not registered if they don't respect people, animals or property.
15. Please be aware of noise after 11 pm. You may continue your activity but at a moderate volume that respects the neighbors.
16. Remember that we have animals on the property, we love them and ask that they be respected. If necessary they have a corral to reside, your vacation will not be affected.
17. We remind you that failure to comply with any of these rules entails a financial responsibility that will be taken from your security deposit. Avoid a situation that could harm you by complying with the rules while you enjoy and relax at Villa Wanderlust. 18. There is a concierge and animal caretaker on site to assist with all of your safety and needs and provide the most exquisite and seamless guest experience possible.

WHAT A TRIP! The beauty of Costa Rica was second to the experience and treatment we received from Jai. Jai made my group and I truly feel at home! 5 plus stars for her warm welcome, clear communication, hospitality and guidance. She knows all the hot spots to visit and eat. No question or concern will throw her off as she has seen it all and will make your Costa Rica dream trip a reality. The beds are amazing, everything in the house works, pool is legendary and the private chefs we reserved through Jai were truly exceptional. Thank you for everything Jai! Pura Vida.
We spent the most amazing week here! Jai made excellent recommendations for dining out and sightseeing, she handled every detail of our week long itinerary for 8 family members, responded promptly to questions and attended to our every need. We felt like we had our own private concierge and attendant. She is the best ambassador for Jaco! The house is very charming and you feel like you are in the middle of your own private paradise. The pictures are very accurate. Come here expecting to be delighted by the friendly pets, the charming hosts and the gorgeous view from your window. We cannot say enough about the incredible service and surroundings. Come here with an open mind and heart and you will have the experience of a lifetime.
Jai's place is AMAZING! It's a lovely jungle cottage placed amongst paradise! We had an 8 person group of friends stay here together and it was the perfect place for us to hang out together after so long. The pool and view were beautiful and the house definitely got you into vacation mode so quickly! Jai really made sure that all of us were comfortable and you can really see the thought she put into each touch of the apartment to make sure what we needed was never far out of reach! It's a beautiful place! As lovely as Jai's place was to stay, Jai herself is even lovelier! Our trip wouldn't have been half as great without her help! She planned all of our taxi transfers to and from the airport, our activities, our cooking classes & meals provided by chefs, and even ordered takeout from town and had a taxi bring it out to us. She checked in with us to make sure we were doing well and didn't need anything else. She was amazingly communicative and made us feel right at home! And with a group as big as ours there were a lot of moving pieces that were organized so seamlessly!! We were especially grateful for all of the taxis that Jai organized for us rather than our group getting a rental car or two. Because we visited in the rainy season some of the roads were a little bit difficult to navigate--some on the way to the house were flooded or steep-- so it was so nice to have an experienced driver be able to get us to and from safely! We couldn't have done it without Jai and we are so so so looking forward to staying with her again!!
Wanderlust is awesome. If you want seclusion yet quick availability to go to downtown this is it. A beautiful cozy warm space settled nicely in the jungle what more could you ask for?? Jai is very attentive almost as if you don't need to lift a finger. She took care of our constant taxi needs and random questions and was always attentive. She knows the area well so listen when she suggest something places to visit/eat. She is always super polite and easy going and eager to make your stay memorable. Bonus you have adorable puppies and a pig to play with. Overall it was just a super great stay. I highly recommend.
The pictures does this home no justice. It is ABSOLUTELY AMAZING! Every thing about our visit to Costa Rica was stunning, from the home to the tours! Jai made the stay so much easier. It’s a must stay if you visit Costa Rica. Best Birthday Ever!!
Our stay at Villa Wanderlust was exceptional! Entering into the property is like ascending into a magic, fairy, wonderland! The place is meticulously cared for with so much love, and it shows. Our host, Jai, was a delight and really made our vacation stress-free and effortless. She put together a great itinerary based on what we wanted to do, arranged all of our transportation and outings and gave us great restaurant recommendations. It was my niece’s birthday and she managed to arrange a beautiful cake with candles for her. Do yourself a favor and book this place. You won’t regret it!
Jai's place is absolutely amazing! I went with my boyfriend and along with 3 other couples. I was celebrating my 30th birthday and Jai provided beautiful flowers and snacks at the airbnb, she even gave us sweet plaintains one morning which we immediately cooked that night. We were all able to have our own King size bed/bedroom AND our own bathrooms. The kitchen was stocked and supplied with cooking ware, and various spices which made cooking meals at the house very easy. Jai helped us with transportation, getting to our excursions, getting groceries and all sorts of other fun things. Everything is pretty close by. This place is very secluded and so we had our privacy. Jai also met us at check in and was super helpful with any questions or concerns we had. There were three dogs at the aribnb as well and were super adorable and just hung out with us. There's even a pig out back, he helped us get rid of our food peels. Jai was always attentive and was very welcoming. I would definitely recommend staying at Villa Wanderlust. You will really feel like you entered another magical word.
If you want that full forest nature filled aesthetic then this place is for you! Jaimy is above and beyond amazing! There were slight hiccups but no worries, Jaimy is a problem solver and get things handle! All in all great experience ??
Pictures doesn’t do justice !!! Amazing home. It was a Group of 9 of us and the house fit us well. Jai was good with many things. From security, our own personally driver, booking tours in advance and much more. Even though being in the country some tiny inconveniences happened, but Jai found a way to accommodate us instantly. You have to experience this place on your own to be the judge.
Jai's place was so magical! Fresh drinking water with a nice pool. Love all the animals she has around..dogs, mini pigs, etc. Cool A/C worked perfectly. She has a bunch of games for groups to play. Ample towels for our group of 11 were provided. Jai helped us arrange transportation, tours, delivered goods we asked for. A full on concierge service! Our friend got in an ATV accident and Jai was very accommodating. Luckily her villa was available for extra nights than we had originally booked and her communication for everything was on point! I would definitely recommend her beautiful villa to anyone who wants an amazing expierience in the jungle!
Jai was an amazing host!!! Everything is exactly how it is described ! The views are amazing ! The rooms, lights, and and entire house are beautiful! Everything from A to Z was on point. She was super responsive and super helpful with getting around. I would highly recommend and would definitely come back here again.

Had a wonderful time at Villa Wonderlust. It is a beautiful place and the host Jai was super nice and informative of what to do. I loved the atv tour she suggested and the restaurant they took us to at the end of the tour was one of the best I had been to while staying in costa rica. The animals are lovely and sweet just like their owner. I would definitely stay there again.
If you are looking for your perfect get away to Costa Rica, this is exactly where you need to be. Jai was exceptional and provided the best stay for me and my friends. With all of her connections in town, we were able to do all of the activities we planned for, not to mention her amazing cooking skills. Thanks for everything, can’t wait to visit again.
Jai’s place is an complete GEM in Jaco. I can’t explain enough how beautiful her home is, it is breathtaking! Perfect dose of nature my family and I needed. She helped with excursions, transportation, and even a fun night on the town for live music. Not only was Jai super helpful for our trip, we had an accident during the ATV tour and every step of the way she was there to help and made sure we were okay and taken care of. If you love animals and nature Jai’s place is definitely it, her pig Jakarta I still talk about and her wonderful friendly dogs, Piña and Kahlu! My family I all enjoyed our stay, we would always remember! Thank you Jai for everything!
Villa Wanderlust and its Host Jai is THE experience you were always looking for. Words cannot describe how humbled we feel after our 3 day stay at this magical place. Everything is exactly as mentioned on the website and as shown on the pictures. The atmosphere is beyond cozy and Jai makes your stay simply unforgettable. There is nothing she does not organize for you. We ordered Drinks, Groceries, Meals from the local restaurants, she set the lights every evening, put on a laser show for us in the enchanted garden, gave tipps for nice beaches and many many more … We came as part of an airline crew and spend our layover here with 9 people and everyone of us is truly amazed by the experience we just had. It really is a once in a lifetime thing (although we will surely come back!!!) and you will definitely never forget your days at Villa Wanderlust. I don’t have anything to criticize at all. It’s paradise. Thank you so much, Jai!!
The house is beautiful. The location is ideally located about 5-10 minute drive to the local beaches, bars, and restaurants. Jai went above and beyond in making sure we had everything we needed. She treated us as if we were a part of her family, and played a huge role in us having such a memorable Costa Rican experience. Couldn’t have imagined a better host!
If your planning a trip to Jacó I highly recommend booking the Villa Wanderlust through Jai. She will blow your mind and make your stay as magical and perfect as possible. It’s only a few minute drive to the beach and all the fun but yet slightly off the beaten path that you feel like your in the middle of the jungle but also 100% safe. We came for a joint bachelor-bachelorette trip and she went above and beyond to exceed our expectations in making sure we had the best experience possible. She helped us girls book a private horseback riding excursion across the Jacó beach, up a beautiful mountain with breathtaking views, and then we traveled back down while watching the sunset. Then she set us up with someone she knows locally that knows of this super secret beach location where he collects beautiful crystals from the ocean of Costa Rica. She booked us that while insuring the guys had their perfect day of golf.
This place is great! The house itself is gorgeous, with all the appointments. More than that, however, was Jai’s gracious and kind nature! She coordinated on-site yoga and personal massages for my group, and tours and many taxi rides into Jaco. She really was the best part of an amazing trip! Please note: this place is in a rural area. There’s jungle-like foliage, and all the things that go with it. If you want a completely barren stark and minimal place, this isn’t it - it’s warm and loved and I think the most authentic experience you can find in the area. Thank you Jai!
Wanderlust really was perfect. Location and stay is more than I expected. So much love has gone into creating this home. Jai was an amazing host.... She helped me order diner. She offers free concierge with the rental which was super helpful and really convenent. There was a bike i could use to ride to the beach. It was just far enough away from the bustling town to be able to have peace and quiet relaxation but just close enough for a quick bike or drive into the town vibes. I can't wait to go back! Also the animals were awesome. Wanderlust was great!
Jaco is loud and fun, Jai's place is 5 minutes from all of the action, but it is hidden off by a nature reserve. It's a quiet retreat surrounded by natural beauty. Jai is a true hostess. She's a Jaco local and knows all of the people, places and things. If you want to know anything, just ask! I couldn't be happier with my stay :)
