The location was great, walking distance to the centre of long beach. The apartment was clean. The WIFI didn't work when we arrived - the network listed on the instructions wasn't available. The check in instructions for the property are listed under the check-out area of the property description.
It was a nice Apartment and clean.
This apartment is a just a short walk from the beach, and although the people in the neighborhood are 'colorful ' they are very nice. We really never felt like it was unsafe, even walking in the evening alone with my children.
It is a short walk to the beach. Just what we were hoping for. Emma was quick to respond to texts. Just some confusion concerning the internet from VBRO app and me not noticing the folder with the more current information. The internet was great for us all. The apartment isn't new, but is just as pictured. I was not surprised that the apartment had a bit of creaking. It felt more like a home. To speak more to other reviews, the place is an apartment with things. It's not a hotel. It's what we expected, as far as cleanliness goes. My friends and I thought the floors could use more notice. Our feet got dirty quickly. I have lived in homes with hardwood and I know they take more upkeep. But that did not change our opinion. We would stay again. Yes, it is a busy area. But it's not much noisier than where I live in Tacoma, WA. It's way quieter than when I lived on Capital Hill in Seattle. We rented it from a Friday night to a Monday Morning. We wanted a close location to the beach, that felt more homey than a hotel. It was my 50th birthday celebration. And the apartment was just what we needed. 3 of us stayed there and it was just right in size. We walked or used Uber and that worked out great for us. I can't speak to the parking, since we had no car. The 3 of us were satisfied. And it was a successful girls' weekend celebration.
