Area Information :There is the history of a ghost town that once houses 1000 people who were working in the logging industry from 1850 to 1929 and the only remaining building now is the original hotel (which is now our marina).

Why visit :We have the very unique situation that we offer a completely private stand-alone waterfront property that is fully loaded with features including a motor boat, canoe, paddle boat, and because we live on the same lake we can provide a multitude of services that are impossible if you rent from a absentee landlord. We are only a phone call away if there is anything that you need (including the proverbial cup of sugar) or information or help with anything that may come up. We personally do the cleaning between visitors to our exacting specifications and we are here to greet you when you arrive and show you how everything works and then we offer to take your group on a complementary and informative tour of the lake showing you points of interest, good fishing spots, hiking trails, the jumping rocks and where to purchase bait and tackle. We personally remove your trash every day. We have a back-up generator in case the power should ever go out and we carry a multitude of spare parts to make sure that you are never inconvenienced in any way during your vacation.

How to reach :We monitor our e-mail every few minutes for 12 or more hours every day and reply promptly with detailed and accurate information pertinent to your needs and requests. There is no "middle man" here.

Best time to visit :Every season has something special but of course the summer is the most popular.

Transport system :If you are arriving from overseas, it is best for you to rent a vehicle to get here but you can also travel by bus to a place near us so let us know if you need for us to arrange pick up from the local bus station. We have a reputation for being very flexible and when you talk to us "the buck stops here" as you are talking directly with the owner/manager.
