Lodge on Lake Godstone

Marluc Bella Vita Ranch is a wildlife and sports retreat facility on 188 acres of forested land surrounding Lake Godstone, a stocked lake with five docks, moorings and swim ladders. The lodge sleeps 35 people with a porch overlooking the lake. We also rent 2 group campgrounds, 8 tent/small RV sites, seven cabins and a sports complex featuring a sand volley ball, basketball, soccer and baseball practice fields. We also have a 4 mile hike and bike trail and rent UTV's and watercraft.   The space With six miles of all-weather gravel roads and another four miles of bike-and-hike trails and plenty of wildlife in the forest around the lake and the wooded grasslands of the upper meadow, nature lovers will be thrilled. The sports complex has a lit basketball court, sand volleyball and a soccer/baseball practice field and an observatory with telescope. Fishing in Lake Godstone is always good and we offer three other small fishing ponds as well. Rent our UTV's, Pontoon Boat with trolling motor, canoes, kayaks, pedal boats and row boat to enhance your experience. There are numerous elevated wildlife viewing stations with feeders and water stations.   Guest access The lodge is rented to one group at a time... all or none... the porch, large boat dock and large fire pit (seats 40) are located immediately adjacent to Lake Godstone and are private to the group renting the lodge. Beside the porch is a water slide and toilet building with two showers and a sand playground with swing-set. The parking lot will handle 30 vehicles. The covered 12' x 60' porch has two restaurant booths and bar seating and can seat about 30 people. You can fish right off the porch.   Other things to note The ranch holds a wildlife property exemption through the state and county and the heavily wooded portion surrounds a new 4 acre lake with 10 miles of all-weather trails around the lake and the upper meadow where wildlife can be viewed from several deer stands. In addition to deer, dove, wild turkey and varmits such as coyote, bobcat, raccoon, skunk and armadillo there are numerous varieties of birds and fowl on the property. An outdoor basketball court, sand volleyball court, sports field and field house with picnic area are available for bookings as well as a gun range (to guests booking the entire ranch facilities including the sports field, campgrounds and cabins).. A new one acre Crappie pond was added below the lake in October of 2020 and the upper beaver pond and catfish pond are available for fishing as well.
