Antler Mountain Lodge 4 Bedrooms Sleeps 12 Pet Friendly Game Room

Antler Mountain Lodge is a beautiful house in a beautiful setting—and much more besides. The spacious 4-bedroom home sleeps up to 12 people, and a pet or 2 as well, with plenty of stylish room to spare. And it includes crowd-pleasing amenities such as pool and foosball tables and an outdoor hot tub you’ll love luxuriating in after a day on the slopes, the links, or the hiking trails.    The great room of Antler Mountain Lodge is truly worthy of the name. In addition to providing solar power, its wall of south-facing windows lets you admire the pine trees surrounding the home. There’s ample leather seating so that everyone can hang out together. After a day of skiing or snowboarding, gather around the wood-burning fireplace as you sip hot cocoa or Irish coffee. In the evening you can make a jumbo batch of popcorn and watch a cable movie on the flat-screen TV.    The wood-planked great room also encompasses the dining area, with a large and handsome tile-topped table perfectly in keeping with the Southwestern setting. In warm weather you might prefer to eat outdoors, on Antler Mountain Lodge’s roomy deck. Along with a table and chairs, it includes a gas grill, enabling you to cook as well as dine alfresco.    Of course, Antler Mountain Lodge has a fully equipped kitchen indoors. Stainless-steel appliances, cookware, tableware, ample storage and counter space: It’s all right here. There’s even a breakfast bar with seating for 4, so friends can help with the cooking. And if you’re vacationing with the kids, you could serve them dinner in here one night while the grown-ups can linger over a more leisurely meal at the dining table.    After dinner, head to the game room for some evening entertainment. Formerly the garage, this space now boasts a full-size pool table, a foosball table, and wonderfully comfortable seating. Once you sink into one of those recliners, you’ll never want to get back up! When you’re not playing games, this is a perfect place to take advantage of Antler Mountain Lodge’s free WiFi.    Yet another sitting area, with another comfy couch, is downstairs. This room includes another large flat-screen TV, plus 2 queen-size beds. The kids will love making this their private clubhouse. A bedroom with a king-size bed and its own TV is on this lower level, as is one of the lodge’s 3 full bathrooms.    Two more bedrooms, each with a queen-size bed and a TV, are on the main floor. These rooms share the 2nd full bathroom. The master suite makes up Antler Mountain Lodge’s loft, providing maximum privacy. The bedroom has a private balcony, so you and your sweetheart can savor a nightcap beneath the star-studded sky before nestling under the covers of the king-size bed. In addition to its own bathroom, the suite has a huge walk-in closet, great if you tend to overpack. Then again, since the house has its own washer and dryer, you have the option of packing lighter than usual.    Antler Mountain Lodge is less than a 5-minute drive to Alto Lake and Recreation Area; when you’re not fishing—the lake is stocked with trout—you can explore the surrounding trails on foot, mountain bike, or horseback. Just a few minutes beyond the lake is Ruidoso Winter Park, where you can snow tube in winter and soar on a zip line year-round. The Cree Meadows and Links at Sierra Blanca golf courses are both less than 10 minutes away. The art galleries and artisan shops of Sudderth Drive are 15 minutes away, and Ski Apache is only a half-hour’s drive.
