Das Meyer Haus has three bedrooms and one bathroom. There is also a dining room, study/office, kitchen, living room, and laundry room. The house features a wrap-around porch with swing, entry framed by stained glass windows featuring an antique frosted front door window, antique and other curated furnishing and decor. Bedrooms: Flora Room: This room features a King master bed with supremely comfortable Casper brand mattress, Wamsutta mattress topper, and luxurious Wamsutta Prima Cotton sheets. There is a dressing room featuring a cedar lined closet, settee and full-length mirrors, chest of drawers and two night stands with 3-way lamps. There is also a comfy chair and bench seating. Hummingbird Room: Sleeps 4. This room houses 2 supremely comfortable full-size beds with Beautyrest mattresses, Wamsutta mattress toppers and luxurious Wamsutta Prima Cotton Sheets. There is an armoire for clothes hanging and chest of drawers, three side tables, two 3-way table lamps, 3 dressing mirrors, 2 luggage racks. Both the Flora and Fauna room contain a Hunter ceiling fan. Blue Room: Sleeps 1. Featuring a cozy twin bed with Wamsutta mattress topper and Wamsutta Prima Cotton Sheets. There is a side table and chest of drawers with hanging hooks. The Blue room has 1 quiet table fan. Study/Office: For your convenience we provide a desk with chair, desk PC and monitor with a Brother Printer/Scanner with one ream of paper and plenty of toner. Feel free to use the multiple unit charger for your phones, readers and watches as we provide cords for mini USB, Fire Wire and USB-C. The desk also features a access point with an Ethernet cord. We also have a pair of reading glasses in the case you need them. Bath: Large bath with claw foot tub/shower, plenty of room for relaxation and preparation. There is bubble bath available for your enjoyment. We provide Whole Foods Brand 365® bath & beauty products (shower gel, shampoo, conditioner, facial cleanser, body lotion, unscented hand soap), hair dryer, flatiron, packaged cotton swabs and cotton balls. Kitchen: KitchenAid gas convection range and microwave, farmer's sink, Hoosier storage for spices, teas and instant coffee, China cabinet with full place settings for 6. Many sets of kitchen towels for your use. No automatic dishwasher! Loads of cabinet space stuffed with great kitchen appliances such as coffee pot, electric kettle, toaster, and Copper Chef (R) brand cookware. All paper goods are provided. Bottled water, assorted herbal and caffeinated teas, Maxwell House Original Roast ground caffeinated coffee, Taster’s Choice Instant coffee decaf and caffeinated, Pure Via® natural sweetener, assorted Coffee Mate® powder creamers, Splenda® and assorted snacks provided. Great getaway
My mother and I stayed 4 nights during Round Top Antique show. We were so happy to come back to the cottage each day because it felt so quiet, cozy and relaxing being there. The property had everything we needed to feel at home and safe. The beds were very comfortable. I would definitely book again

This house is super clean and tastefully decorated with art, ironestone, antiques, beautiful lighting and overall that old world feeling. It is chocked full of amenities that are thoughtfully placed and things that you would normally have to make a trek to the store. They have thought of everything! We loved the house and did not want to say goodbye. There is one thing that is to no fault of the proprietor, three blocks away are train tracks, and the trains come blasting through out the night. We all put in earplugs (also provided by the owners) and slept soundly every night. It really is a none issue. I will stay there again and again.
My girlfriend and I had a lovey stay! It was absolutely picture perfect! All the details in furnishing and the luxurious bedding was amazing! The house is a great retreat after shopping in Round Top! Coffee on the quaint front porch was a treat! I look forward to going back again!

My family and I greatly enjoyed our stay in Schulenberg, and Das Meyer Haus made the trip magical. The furnishings and decor are outstanding; they create an elegant, yet comfortable atmosphere with great appreciation for the antique heritage of the house and town. One of the most appealing aspects of this abode, however, is its proximity to so many lovely (and fun) points of interest.

The pictures do not do enough justice to how cute this home is. The home is well stocked with everything you could need. Even though there's only one bathroom, it's very spacious and central to all 3 bedrooms and worked very well for us. We had a small group of 3 friends, all quilters, staying here. The large dining table was perfect for setting up our sewing machines and quilt projects and when we were tired of that we retired to the living room to relax and watch TV while working on hand sewing projects each night. We would love to make this rental an annual meeting spot for our little quilters group. Thank you for such a wonderful stay!!
What a fantastic place to stay while soaking up the history of this area. My friend, Arturo Fuente, really enjoyed the large porch with the cool evening breeze. There is one bathroom, which is very clear in the listing. Claw tub is enjoyable; but, not as a combined shower.

We so enjoyed our stay. My husband doesn't really like old things but fell in love. We were very comfortable. We were in town for a wedding and it was so convenient to everything. If we go back we will definitely stay here.
