Area Information :Walks The undulating countryside near Sentout offers many pleasant walks through meadows, vineyards and quiet country lanes. This peaceful Spring scene of Tabanac is only minutes away. Discovery Just a little further away, discover the Garonne riverbank with its fishing huts where locals catch eels, sturgeon and lampreys – the sturgeon is now protected and must be released back into the river. The Garonne river Another unusual encounter on the river may be seeing an Airbus A380 wing being transported on a barge on its way from England to Toulouse. In the trees For the adventurous, try tree-top climbing at St Genes de Lombaud just 5 km from Chateau Sentout. Wine tasting Winery visits and wine tastings can be organized in nearby chateaux or in some of the renowned chateaux of the Medoc, Grave or St Emilion. Horse riding Horse riding lessons are available at Tabanac and Baurech, forest walks or horse trail rides within 2 kms from Sentout. Restaurants There are several fine restaurants nearby including St Martin located on the bank of the Garonne in Langoiran and a little further away in Paillet, Creon, Rions and Cadillac. Water skiing Located near Baurech is a small lake owned by French waterskiing champions Thierry and Bastien, where you can learn, or improve your water skiing techniques.

How to reach :From BORDEAUX-MÉRIGNAC International Airport Take the ring road direction AGEN-PAU-TOULOUSE. Continue towards PARIS. At exit 22A, toward CADILLAC LATRESNE and follow the D113 and the D10 towards CADILLAC. At 17 km from the exit 22A after BAURECH, take the first left (D121E7) and follow the orange signs “CHATEAU SENTOUT” for 1 km and on arrival the blue signs. Caution: Do not go to TABANAC. From BORDEAUX Follow the river to the south, then take the bypass towards PARIS. At exit 22A, toward CADILLAC LATRESNE and follow the D113 and the D10 towards CADILLAC. At 17 km from the exit 22A after BAURECH, take the first left (D121E7) and follow the orange signs “CHATEAU SENTOUT” for 1 km and on arrival the blue signs. Caution: Do not go to TABANAC. From PARIS A10E5 leave the motorway at junction 1 (attention, output 1 is just after exit 45) towards Toulouse. You are now on the Bordeaux ring road. After about 15 km, exit 22A towards CADILLAC LATRESNE and follow the D113 and the D10 towards CADILLAC. At 17 km from the exit 22A after BAURECH, take the first left (D121E7) and follow the orange signs “CHATEAU SENTOUT” for 1 km and on arrival the blue signs. Caution: Do not go to TABANAC. From PAU, TARBES, TOULOUSE and Bayonne Take the ring road towards PARIS. At exit 22A, toward CADILLAC LATRESNE and follow the D113 and the D10 towards CADILLAC. At 17 km from the exit 22A after BAURECH, take the first left (D121E7) and follow the orange signs “CHATEAU SENTOUT” for 1 km and on arrival, the blue signs. Caution: Do not go to TABANAC.
