Ski lifts and trails are easily accessed from the chateau, and the charming shops skating rink and restaurants of beaver creek village are only a short walk away. This 1180+ square-foot well appointed condo in the chateau terrace building is spacious and loaded with extras including: heated floors; high-end appliances; full stereo system; steam shower and jacuzzi bath in the master bedroom; gas fireplaces in the living room ; small balcony with views down the mountain; king bed in the master double bunk beds in the second bedroom; two and a half baths plus a full washer/dryer; 3 flat screen tv's wireless broadband; two-line cordless phones throughout the unit with conference call and speakerphone capabilities; and ski lockers allocated to the unit- in the main building with boot heater included. I have been at the Chateau since 1996 and every time I go back there it is like paradise. I remember the first time I saw the building I thought it was the most luxurious but welcoming environment I had ever seen. Originally I grew up in the England but now live in Boston MA. I try to use the apartment for at least 4 weeks every year 2 in the ski season and 2 in the summer.
Well this is an easy one ! This residence is beautiful in every way-from the gourmet kitchen to the lovely master suite to the warm fireplace and the cozy beds- -not to mention easy access to all the amenities. You really feel like you are in the lap of luxury at all times. First of all, in the morning you wake up to a beautiful view out on the balcony. After grabbing a complimentary coffee downstairs, you begin your ski day at your very own heated (yes heated) ski lockers and ski right out to the slopes, where a short trail brings you to the main lift network to access all of Beaver Creek. At the end of the day, you ski right up to the back door , deposit your skis in those very same lockers, and hot cider awaits. We spent our late afternoons at the (really) luxurious spa and and the kids can hit the pool or the game room. Once the evening rolls around, the lobby buzzes with activity at the Piano bar and of course a truly fine dining experience at Splendido restaurant. All this is pulled together seamlessly by a first class concierge staff that caters to your every need -and sometimes even anticipates them - I've never experienced a better one. If you're looking for the perfect luxury ski vacation, whether with family and friends or romantic getaway, this is a wonderful spot. Can't wait to come back in the summer and just substitute hiking,biking, and golf for the skiing!
This property has become a popular vacation destination for my family. The unit has a home-like feel and the staff has become extended family. The concierge desk has been extremely helpful in planning summer outings including, para sailing, horse trekking and mountain biking. Returning to the apartment after a fun filled day is a treat. The views from the living room and both bedrooms are simply stunning! Preparing a home cooked meal in the well equipped kitchen and gathering around the fire as a family is a special time, before my husband and I go down to the piano bar adjacent to Splendido's, a top ranked restaurant in The Rockies. Our summer visits did not prepare us for the joys of spring skiing in this location. I have never felt so spoiled as I did last week. I had not experienced the luxury of ski in /ski out or heated lockers. Simply fabulous! The excellent ski etiquette on the slopes is unmatched, at least in my experiences in North America and Europe. The après ski includes, heated pool, hot tub and much needed spa visits. I would most definitely recommend this beautifully appointed unit to friends and family looking for the ultimate bonding time, either in summer or winter. The staff will go out of their way, to make the holiday the best one you have ever experienced.
