The Spruce Cottage

Fully equipped, clean, comfortable and very private, the Spruce Cottage is our newest cottage. The spruce logs were cut nearby on the property. The all-log, hand crafted construction makes for a very tight and solid cabin. The interior is alive with the warmth and beauty of wood starting with the hand milled hardwood plank floor. Enjoy the special warmth from the wood stove or convenient electric heat. There is a full bath, a fully equipped kitchen, and living/dinning area downstairs. Upstairs there is a large one room sleeping loft with double bed. At the other end of the loft there is a sitting area with a double futon. Down stairs there is a futon which may used as a double bed as well. The Spruce Cottage is spacious for 2 or comfortable for a small family. The front deck looks out across a pure wilderness view to the Cape Breton Highlands. There is a gas BBQ and a fire pit in the front yard..
