Nearby, Hathersage is an interesting village, with its historic features and open-air swimming pool. The town of Bakewell are easily accessible with Chatsworth House nearby, as are the villages of Castleton, famous for its Blue John stone, and caves. Also Haddon Hall is a short drive away.
