Gold Run Mountain Home vacation rental home at Breckenridge is in a recently restored house, located in a hamlet enclosed by woodland and hills covered in olive groves and vineyards. The self-catering home is embellished in the traditional rustic style, using antique furniture, fittings and fabrics with soft muted colors, handmade cotton floors, exposed stone walls and beams.

The fully equipped kitchenette is perfect for creating a scrumptious Italian meal, after which you can dine under the impressive chandelier or use the soft lighting for more personal dining. The comfy sofa is ideal for relaxing after a chaotic day of sightseeing and tour or to curl up to read a good book or watch a DVD. There is a selection of tables, especially handy for working on your laptop or card games.

The bedroom with its classic bed and traditional nightstands and lamps is very passionate. The mattress was exclusively chosen to give you a good night's sleep. There is an en-suite shower room tiled in honey colored stone.

This home vacation rental rates $350 per night. Rates are subject to change without notice.

Policies

 

1.      Smoking is NOT allowed OR Smoking is allowed outside only.

2.      People other than those in the Guest party set forth above may not stay overnight in the property.  Any other person in the property is the sole responsibility of Guest.

3.      The house is privately owned; the owners are not responsible for any accidents, injuries or illness that occurs while on the premises or its facilities. The Homeowners are not responsible for the loss of personal belongings or valuables of the guest. By accepting this reservation, it is agreed that all guests are expressly assuming the risk of any harm arising from their use of the premises or others whom they invite to use the premise.

4.      Keep the property and all furnishings in good order

5.            Only use appliances for their intended uses

6.      Pets are NOT allowed.  OR   PETS are permitted only with prior approval and the Pet Addendum must be completed. 

7.Parking: The property offers a one car garage plus 3 additional parking spaces.  One being on the street in front of the house.  The street parking is not available during snow plow conditions. 

 

8.      Housekeeping:  There is no daily housekeeping service. While linens and bath towels are included in the unit, daily maid service is not included in the rental rate.   We suggest you bring beach towels. We do not permit towels or linens to be taken from the units.

9.      Hot Tub: [No children under the age of  16  permitted in hot tubs at any time] [without adult supervision].  When using the hot tub, remember there is a certain health risk associated with this facility. Use at your own risk.  Our housekeepers drain, sanitize, refill and replenish chemicals in all tubs prior to your arrival; therefore, it may not be warm until later that evening. [DO NOT STAND ON THE HOT TUB COVERS.  Hot tub covers are for insulation purposes and are not designed to support a person or persons.  They will break and you may be charged for replacement.] Remember when not using the hot tub, leave cover on so hot tub will stay warm.

10.  [Fireplace: The fireplace is a vented  log fired firebox.  Please do not throw any paper or other combustible materials in the fireplace or set anything on top of the free standing stoves.  Fireplaces are not to be used during non winter conditions.  

11.  [Water and Septic: The property is on a well and septic systems.  The mineral content in the water is high.    The septic system is very effective; however, it will clog up if improper material is flushed.  DO NOT FLUSH anything other than toilet paper.  No feminine products should be flushed at anytime.  If it is found that feminine products have been flushed and clog the septic system, you could be charged damages of up to _$300.00.

12.  Storms: 

:   No refunds will be given for storms. [Mountain roads can be curvy and steep. Gravel drives are well maintained; however, we highly recommend four wheel drive and/or chains during the snow months. We do not refund due to road conditions.]

Local recreation center, baseball fields and blue river near by. Hiking, biking during the summer months. Breckenridge and Summit county has hundreds of miles to backwood trails. Copper mountain ski resort is 20 mins away offering snow tubing during the winter and horseback riding during the summer. Peak 8 gondola base located just 5 minute drive from house. Ample parking for day long skiers. ENJOY THE OUTDOORS: Have fun with the many secluded hiking and biking trails though out summit county. Affordable bike rentals are available at several shops just minutes away.
How to reach :House is located NW of downtown Breckenridge about 2 miles.
Best time to visit :Breckenridge is a year sports and get away destination all all ages

I have more than 30 years of skiing showing you just how much I enjoy the mountains. I personally designed this home in the early 90\'s and it has been a fantastic place to just get away and enjoy the healthy clean fresh outdoor environment. The house is shared by many family members year round.
