It is our pleasure to share this beautiful and charming cabin home with you and your family.
Our Mountain Hideaway cabin is perched on a beautiful scenic mountaintop located in Burnsville, North Carolina.
This three level cabin is approximately 2,300 square feet featuring a loft and deck that overlook picturesque valley views and on to another range of Blue Ridge and Mt Mitchell Mountains.
Our cabin is conveniently located 6 miles from the town of Burnsville, which makes it close enough to civilization for shopping in a small town setting yet far enough to feel secluded.
If you appreciate the beauty and aroma of natural pine wood you will enjoy the interior and exterior of this log home. It's cathedral ceilings, hardwood floors; Berber carpeted bedrooms and local area antique decorations gives the cabin a comfortable and charming appeal.
Our home has a fully equipped kitchen with all modern appliances, solid oak wood cabinets; ice maker and cooking utensils to create your favorite home cooked meal.
Other ammenities include Computer (on premises) plus WiFi, telephone, cable TV, Internet access, Laundry room, Playpen and Highchair for the little ones.
If relaxation is your desire, this is definitely the place to be. The cabin has a large deck that offers picturesque views. The expansive deck area has a New Hot Tub for 6, a propane gas grill, picnic table, rocking chairs and a relaxing hanging wooden swing.
Our Mountain Hideaway is nesteled on approximately 2800 ft of elevation.
Upon entering the living room there is a Stone gas log fireplace to keep you warm during the cold winter nights, two comfortable couches, a flat screen TV, ceiling fans, DVD player, with movies on site for your enjoyment.
The spacious dining room seats six with French Windows overlooking incredible post card views.
The Master bedroom (located in the loft), has a Queen size bed, makeup vanity, a tall chest of drawers, 32" HDTV with cable and DVD player. The bedroom has it's own private bathroom. This spacious room has air conditioning and two comfortable reclining chairs for reading and relaxation not to mention the views.
The second bedroom located on the main level has two queen size bed, flat screen TV with cable, air conditioning and a full size bathroom with private access to the deck.
The third bedroom is located on the lower level with a full oversized mattress post bed, 1/2 Bathroom, dresser drawers, a Sleeper Sofa, air conditioning and cable TV. We have just added a half bath for your convienance.
The Game room has a 8 ft Slate Pool Table, Electronic dartboard and foosball. There is a 27" TV, and Stereo system for your enjoyment, so bring your favorite CD's.
There is a Horseshoe pit, Picnic table and Hammock for some outdoor enjoyment.
Oh, I almost forgot there is also a garage.
Once you are done relaxing, here are just a few things that may interest you.
Take a walk down to the Cane River. Golf at Mt Mitchell or Grassy Creek Golf Course, Ski at Wolf Laurel or Beech Mountain, visit the city of Asheville which is located only 30 minutes away.
A park was just built down the road and for some adventure just a driving distance away, you can go Gem mining, ziplining, hiking, biking, horseback riding, canoeing, tubing, lots of forest area, waterfalls, or take a drive through the Blue Ridge Parkway, Boone and Tennessee.
Burnsville located in Yancey county, shares the northwestern Appalachian Mountain Ridge with Johnson County, Tennessee.
The Blue Ridge Parkway outlines Yancey's southeastern boundary. Burnsville has an average elevation of 2,817 feet, which is the highest in the state and is centrally, located midway between Asheville and Boone.
There are many antique shops located both near and far.
Burnsville is a warm and friendly town with restaurants, movie theater, many unique shops, crafts and history.
We are members of the Yancey County Chamber of Commerce.
