One of the oldest properties in the area, Ferryboat Cottage is truly unique. As its name suggests, the original ferrymaster's cottage stands in one acre of sheltered, lawned gardens, all south-facing and providing private access to Loch Ken.
A beautiful, traditional Galloway cottage, with two wood-burning stoves. The cottage also has electric storage heaters, making it very cosy, whatever the time of year. As well as easy access to the Solway coast, Loch Ken is South West Scotland's centre for outdoor activities, with horse riding, golfing, sailing, and water-skiing nearby.
