(Welcome To Moose Lake Lodge If you love water and you love wildlife, you’ll love staying with us in our Log House at Moose Lake Lodge. Located just ¼ mile from Rocky Mountain National Park and 3.5 miles from Grand Lake, Colorado, our lakefront rental home is situated on a private 20-acre lake, where wildlife sightings are commonplace. Our Log House has a private dock, with a rowboat, a paddleboat, and/or canoe for your personal use. The rental property also includes: a fireplace, decks, full kitchen, and mountain themed appointments and decorations. Grand Lake, Colorado is known for its summertime activities, including 4th of July festivities, but there are also fun things to do in the winter, fall, and spring. In fact, in the winter, Grand Lake is a favorite destination for snowmobilers, and in the fall, Rocky Mountain National Park draws visitors from far and wide who come to hear the elk bugling and witness the annual rut. The following is a summary of the policies for renting our Log House at Moose Lake Lodge in Grand Lake, Colorado. A more detailed list of policies will be emailed on request and when you make a reservation.
RESERVATION AND SECURITY DEPOSIT: A deposit is required when you make your lodging reservation. We accept VISA, MasterCard, and Discover. After your rental reservation deposit is received, a confirmation will be sent to you by mail, detailing the amount due, including tax, the due date, and the number of occupants and pets. The deposit will become the security deposit (see below). There will also be substantial additional charges if an excess number of people and/or pets occupy the premises. There is absolutely no sleeping in tents or in vehicles. It is not possible to park RVs on the Moose Lake Lodge property. Use of the property on Sun Valley Lake is restricted to the registered guests only. It is not possible to invite extra visitors without prior permission.
