Heath Cottage is a delightful 3 Star self catering cottage in the village of Boat of Garten. The cottage is situated in a quiet yet central location within the village with large secluded gardens backing on to extensive pine woods. It has been built and furnished to high standards and is extremely cosy and comfortable. It is semi- detached, all on one level and equipped to sleep 6 adults.
Accommodation There are 3 bedrooms - two double bedrooms, and a twin room - all with spacious built in wardrobes. There is a full bathroom plus an extra shower room ensuite to one of the double rooms. A spacious open plan area includes a fully equipped modern kitchen with breakfast bar to seat six and a comfortable and spacious living area which opens out through full glass doors to a bright and sunny dining conservatory. Doors from the conservatory lead out on to a paved patio, complete with wooden table and seats, and the extensive grassed rear garden.
The immediate Spey Valley area is one of the most popular holiday areas in Scotland capable of providing an excellent holiday all year round no matter what your interests.
Apart from the outstanding natural beauty of the area and the access to many splendid walks and outdoor areas, it boasts some of the most popular and well run visitor attractions built especially with families in mind, like Landmark Adventure and Heritage Centre in Carrbridge and the Rothiemurchus Estate in Aviemore. Golfers, fishing enthusiasts, birdwatchers, walkers and climbers, watersports lovers and skiers all come back year after year to this beautiful part of the Highlands.
It is also a splendid base from which to get to know those other parts of Northern Scotland you have always wanted to see; Royal Deeside, the Isle of Skye, John O Groats, the Speyside Whisky Trail and Loch Ness are all within a day's outing. Maps and information are available within the cottage.
