My family of four (2 boys 7 and 12) stayed at this property for 2 weeks and recommend it as a great vacation property! It Is close to all of the sought after shopping/dining/activities but is still in a private location. Home itself has open floor plan great for entertaining and spreading out. Backyard was the best feature for my family- bigger pool than most with putting green, lots of seating areas, barbecue, etc. The owner Vince and his wife were so great- very attentive to any inquiries and just all around great people.
We enjoyed our 2 week stay. We had everything we needed in the house and the pool/outside area was great. Vince was so helpful and responded immediately any questions we had. The location is great!!
This property was exactly as advertised. Easily accommodates 10 adults. The owner is very accommodating and easy to work with. If you have plans anywhere in the Scottsdale area you should consider this property.
Spent spring break in AZ with another family. This house was perfect for 2 families with lots of room and open space, especially the flow from great room to swimming pool. We also loved the proximity to hiking trails and made hiking part of our daily routine.
Thank you Vinny and Kristine for providing us with a fantastic home to stay in while visiting Arizona. We had a wonderful time. From Swimming and relaxing in the pool, to fun games of Pool on the pool table, to hiking in the mountains just blocks from our door to venturing out to dinning, sightseeing and even WILD HORSES!!!!!! Yes only 10 min from the house we saw a herd of 7 Beautiful Wild Horses. It was all right there for us to enjoy! Vinny it was nice to chat with you the first day and get to know you. (What a super nice guy) We loved the Black Binder with all the information in it. We used it often. The maps for hiking were great! We hiked the first day! The pool table was a hit. I think we woke up playing a game and played before we all fell asleep! The suroundsound was awesome, we loved that feature! Every thing was so easy to drive to. The house location made it easy to get to where we were venturing out to very easy and quick. Our only regrets are that we could not stay longer......... Maybe Next time!!!!!
Lovely home and neighborhood. We loved opening the doors and letting the outside in. We have stayed at many VRBO and prefer renting from the owners and not an agency. The owner was always available for any questions or issues. The kitchen was well stocked and we enjoyed s'mores by the fire pit. We might suggest in the near future a new mattress in the master bedroom and an updated television in the family room off the kitchen. Although neither would keep us from renting again. We enjoyed the walk to the trail-head for morning hikes and our days by the pool. We look forward to staying again.
Visited for 10 days over the holidays with our family of 5 (three boys, 14, 11 and 9). The layout of the home was fantastic - plenty of space, open concept, and geared toward entertainment. We all enjoyed the chipping/putting green, pools and the pool table in the rec room. Kitchen had everything we needed and we had no trouble cooking and dining in on a few of our evenings. Most importantly, Vince was a great host, very focused on customer service. He was very attentive and responsive to any questions we had or minor glitches that arose and was a pleasure to work with. We plan to return. Thanks for everything, Vince.
This spot was just what we needed for a warm relaxing getaway. We really felt right at home in no time at all. Pool/hot tub was the perfect way to unwind in this awesome desert city.

This is one comfortable, well appointed home for a family getaway! We are a multigenerational family (grandparents, daughter and son-in-law and 2 grandkids), and both the layout of the home and its amenities suited us perfectly. Outstanding curb appeal; when we drove up, we knew we'd made a great choice (even better than the pictures you see here). The grandkids (8 and 6) just loved the pool/hot tub and putting green, not to mention the pool table and big screen TVs. We adults appreciated the kitchen/dining area and the covered (and uncovered) pool decking area, with shade for those who need it and sunny spaces for those who want it. The solar pool cover is a bit cumbersome, but does an outstanding job at keeping the temperature where you want it. Proximity to the Lost Dog Wash trailhead made it convenient to hike nearly every day of our visit. Excellent grocery shopping is nearby, and the easy access to the outer loop made getting around the metro area and up to Camp Verde and Sedona very convenient. Vinny is a great guy to work with and super helpful when you have a question, and the booking process couldn't have been easier.
Excellent house and location. This place was clean, comfortable, and pretty big too. We had ten of us there and it worked. We played pool and opened the big doors; beautiful weather even in December. On the hot days the pool was perfect. We elected to heat it to 89 and I recommend doing that. The beds were soft and big, the kitchen was wonderful, but the back yard was the best. We putted on the 4-hole putting green, shot baskets in the pool, and then we cooked smores at night on the fire pit - wood provided. Vinny took great care of us. This place is closer to the mountains and it was the furthest rental on our list, but we never drove much more than 10 minutes anywhere. 5-star resort!!
I've been coming to Scottsdale for spring training for almost a decade. We've rented a number of different houses over the years, and this one ranks near the top. Vinny was super helpful and made sure any minor issues were taken care of immediately. Being able to swim (including basketball in the pool!), use the hot tub, and spend time outside while watching NCAA basketball was awesome. Overall great house with great indoor/outdoor flow.
We just wanted to wish Vinny and his family a Happy New Year and thank them again for allowing us to rent their beautiful home. My husband and I stayed for a week in November. Vinny and his wife were so welcoming and he checked in with us periodically to make sure everything was ok. We had a couple of minor issues that Vinny made sure were taken care of immediately. We LOVED the indoor outdoor living!! We didn't use the pool but used the hot tub a couple of tiems a day. It was WONDERFUL!! Being we are from South Dakota, we are so ready for another visit to Arizona. We will defineltey contact Vinny again!!!
My wife, son, daughter-in-law, 5 month old grandson and myself were fortunate enough to stay in this lovely home for almost a week in late April. The experience was sublime! The property is immaculately maintained, spotless, exceptionally appointed and had every amenity imaginable. The outdoor living area is resort quality. The property is restfully quiet, yet it convenient to shopping, golf, restaurants and all the enjoyable diversions in the area. Owner Vinny was a delight and helped ensure a wonderful getaway for all of us. I would readily recommend this property to any of my friends, including those with the most exacting standards. It really is special.
This place was all it's advertised and more. We travelled with another family and our kids and stayed together. We had an awesome time in the pool and the hiking nearby is excellent. Just be careful of the Jumping Cholla cacti! My wife got hit by one and they're tough to get out. Vincent was a great host and made sure we had what we needed. We felt like it was a good deal. I would absolutely recommend this place to anyone.
Our family loves Scottsdale for Spring Break. Staying at this house was wonderful as the location and amenities were just right for enjoying our week. We travel with our children and the house worked well in that the master bedroom is on one end of the house and the children's bedrooms are on the other. The kitchen/dining area was spacious and well stocked with appliances and items to make eating in a great option. The pool area is awesome with the crystal-clear pool, spa and grill close by. It was great having breakfast out by the pool each morning. We had a great time shooting pool and putting on the putting green. They have all the "toys" needed to enjoy your stay without having to bring all the extras. In April it's awesome to turn off the AC and open up the sliding doors out to the pool and have a great open-air space from outside to inside. We made it up to Sedona one day, played golf and tennis, hiked in the lost dog trail network (trailhead located at the end of the street) dined out several times and most of all relaxed away from the busyness of the grind. We would recommend this property as a great place to get away as a family. It has all the amenities to make your Scottsdale trip memorable. Vinny was a great landlord and really cared about making us comfortable during our stay. Recommend his property!
We spent 4 nights in this amazing home on a girls getaway. We had a wonderful time. The home was beautiful and was exactly what was expected from the photos. It was clean and well furnished. Vinny was great. He was easy and pleasant to deal with and helped us out with anything we needed. We would return again if we had the chance.
We had a great Thanksgiving reunion at this spacious house! Wonderful privacy from surrounding properties with the entire living room wall opening up to the pool and back yard. It's a five minute walk to Phoenix's best outdoor playground - McDowell Mountain Regional Park with miles of great desert hiking trails. Easy access to grocery stores and Scottsdale. Highly recommended!
This was our first time to rent a private home as opposed to spending our family spring break at a local resort and this is the only way to go! With four adults and three kids all having their own space and anytime access to the pool and the refrigerator it was our best Spring Break ever. The house was nicely appointed, as pictured, and the pool was perfect for kids and adults of all ages. The location provided easy access to everything we planned to do from shopping to golfing to hiking. Vinny takes a real personal interest in the enjoyment of your stay and that made our stay extra pleasant.
We just returned from this property and we can't say enough about this property and Vinny the owner. From the moment of inquiry until we left this property Vinny was responsive and a pleasure to work with. The house is beautiful and the lay out is great for couples or families. The neighborhood is quite and relaxing. The sliding glass door open up to from the pool table area to the patio providing fresh air and an open feeling, it was like being at a resort. Plenty of comfortable seating for everyone both inside and out. The kitchen, bedrooms, bathrooms were all well supplied and very clean, absolutely no complaints. There is great hiking just at the end of the street and grocery and food options down the road, I even walked there to get some supplies. More shopping and restaurants a short drive in any direction.
This Spring Break my family and I had decided to travel with some friends and rent a vacation rental in Scottsdale. This was the first time any of us had done something like this...normally we would stay in a hotel. But had decided to give vacation rental a try and we found this house. All we can say is AMAZING!! This house is spectacular and was so fun for the kids. It is close to everything and we couldn't have asked for a better vacation. Vinny was great to deal with and was so friendly. We would definitely rent this house again!!!
Our family of 6 adults has just returned from a vacation in this home, and it more than adequately met our needs. It was clean and roomy and the owners, Vinny and Kristine, are the nicest, most accommodating people! The amenities we enjoyed were the 3-hole putting green, the pool, especially the hot tub, the barbecue, pool table and adjoining rec room area. I think we pretty much used every square inch of the house. Two items of note: we had brought blu-ray DVDs with us, and the existing DVD player in the house could not play them, so upon learning this, Vinny and Kristine immediately purchased a blu-ray player for our use, hooking it up and explaining how to access it. We also found one of the bed mattresses hard for our sleeping comfort, and at the same time the blu-ray player arrived, so did a down pillow-topper for the bed. And this was done promptly and cheerfully. It is 1/4 mile from the front door to the desert hiking trailhead. The house is on a cul-de-sac in a lovely area, and the resulting quiet is conducive to relation. There is so very much to do in Scottsdale. Our family golfed on 3 different courses (Talking Stick was the best!) and we ate at some wonderful restaurants: AZ88 (great burgers but in kind of a modern laid-back club atmosphere), Pomo Pizzeria Napolitana (fabulous gourmet pizza) and Citizen Public House in Old Town Scottsdale, a tasty farm to table restaurant. This restaurant also features a small club upstairs, for which you need to register. You are called on your phone when there is room for your group. It serves exclusive and exotic special cocktails in a very private setting. The four youngest members of our family found it to be entertaining. Except for AZ88, I would recommend reservations.
Stayed here for five nights with my girlfriend and dad. Everything was great. Vinny was on top of everything and made our stay at his property easy and relaxing. The house has everything you need to entertain.
Stayed at this great property over Thanksgiving week. It was myself, my husband, our daughter and son-in-law, 19 year old son and 4 grandsons! More than enough room for all of us. It was less than 1/2 hour drive from the Sky Harbor Airport-right off highway 101-which easily gets you to desert ridge mall to the north and old scottsdale to the south. Vincent met us promptly and gave us a thorough tour of the house and pool area. The property was clean and the pictures on the website were exactly how it looked. We had a minor problem with the pool not heating on one day but Vincent was there later in the afternoon and it was fixed by that night-he's very conscientious. The grandsons loved the wide open area inside the house to run around and loved the pool and hot tub even more. The pool was very clean. I would definitely stay here again
We lived in Phoenix for many years and still have friends and family there. We wanted a place close to them and convenient to Scottsdale entertainment. This house is in a great location. It is close to the 101 freeway. It is close to many great restaurants and shopping. Multiple grocery stores are close by. A health club is just blocks away. It is very quiet and private. We were in the pool every day. We hiked on the beautiful mountain trails just 2 blocks away. We visited CrackerJax and the zoo and shopped at Scottsdale Quarter, Kierland Commons, and Fashion Square Mall. The house has a pool table, putting green, pool, jacuzzi, piano, and multiple TV's. Vinny was waiting for us when we arrived and was very helpful with local information.
This home and the owner Vinny were beyond expectations! The home is very spacious, clean and the layout is perfect for an extremely relaxing vacation. Vinny met us on arrival and gave us a very detailed walkthrough which was helpful because the house has a lot of extras which add to the enjoyment of your stay. Vinny checked back non intrusively and periodically to make sure we were comfortable and also provided us with a few nightlife and restaurant options in the Scottsdale area that turned out to be great ideas. He is very knowledgable about the area. The house is very convenient to everything in the Scottsdale area. Do not miss out on the desert hiking just out the front door as the areas trails are convenient and very beautiful and were a surprise bonus to our trip. Our Family rented this home for a month with our two sons and their wifes each taking it for a week and my husband and I having it for the rest of the time. We thought that is was in a great location being close to a lot of things that we were interested in: golf, hiking, theaters, restaurants, horse show, shopping and just the mountains and desert look. The home is very roomy and comfortable. Liked the fact that it had to rooms to watch T.V. in. Loved the big glass door that opened up to the pool area. The pool and hot tub were one of the best that we have had since renting homes in the area. The owner, Vinny, came when we arrived to go over everything in the home and pool area, which was very helpful!! I would recommend this property to anyone who is looking for a great place to relax and have a great time!!
We stayed here over Christmas. Every day was sunny and in the 70's. The property had everything as advertised, and so much more. A brand new putting green and loaded tangerine trees in the back. Great location, outside of the big city yet conveniently located for almost anything. We went to a Coyotes game, golfing, and plenty of restaurants. But the best thing was the walking paths just a few blocks away. We spent at least two hours every morning walking on these beautiful and challenging trails up through the mountains. We also enjoyed the billiard table quite a bit. I would highly recommend this property to anyone looking for a great stay in the Scottsdale area.
After researching many properties in the Scottsdale area, we settled for a one weeks stay at this home, and never regretted our decision. My wife, son and 2 of his friends went to Scottsdale last September for a week of fun and relazation. Since we arrvied early in the day on our flight from Edmonton, Vinnie was more than accomadating and met us at the house. We found this extremely helpful since our rentals in the past had us waiting 4-5 hours before they let us onto the property, although they had been empty for the previous 2 weeks. People say that first impressions mean alot, and this certainly can be said of this house. We were all amazed by the size, layout and comfortable feeling we had. The backyard pool area and spa were amazing. As I mentioned earlier, 5 of us went on this holiday, and each had a spacious and comfortable bedroom. What also impressed everyone was the closeness we were to shopping, first rate golf coursed and dining. Even though it is now the middle of winter, we certainly are planning to go back in 2012. Well done Vinnie. You certainly have a winner with this house.
We stayed at this home 4/19 - 4/26 and had a great time. Vince was very accomodating at our walk through and touched base later to make sure we were enjoying our stay. The home is every bit as great as the photos indicate. The great room opens up to enjoy the beautiful view and the great Arizona weather. A state trail is two blocks away with miles of trails. Everything else you need from groceries, etc. is very close. Since we were in Phoenix for our son's wedding we had some family gatherings at the house. It is open and works well for groups to get together. All of the supplies are there to make your stay enjoyable.
My family thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this spacious and comfortable home. The size of the home allows guest to find privacy for reading and relaxing, but the pool, billiard room and kitchen were excellent gathering areas for the whole family to have fun and visit. I would, without a doubt stay again and would highly recommend this location to friends and acquaintances.
