The General Grierson Cottage provides a peaceful, relaxing retreat for up to 12 individuals for one or more weeks.
Located just steps from Grand Traverse Bay, it provides a wonderful water experience - a place where memories are made that will last a lifetime.
The 1st floor has a great room (with a stone fireplace), a fully equipped kitchen, dining room, a private bedroom suite, 2 full bathrooms and of course, the large, marvelous screened porch.
The second floor has 5 bedrooms and 1 full bathroom. Each upstairs room has it's own sink.
All bedrooms enjoy the sound of waves lapping on the beach.
General Grierson Cottage is one of the most historically interesting vacation cottages on Grand Traverse Bay.
This lovely home was built as a summer residence by Major General Benjamin Henry Grierson - acclaimed Civil War General.
An enclosed porch, with a grand view of the bay, can accommodate all guests for meals, family gatherings, or meetings.
Just feet from waters edge. Parents can join the fun in the 'surf' with the children, or watch them from the deck.
The cottage has been lovingly maintained by the same family since 1947.
