Our Cottage have been built and equipped to give you a peaceful, cosy and comfortable base for your holiday. In a nutshell, your "home from home". All of our cottages have large windows and carefully positioned bird tables for watching the large variety of wild birds that inhabit the surrounding birch woods.
The Haven is classified as a Category 1 Unassisted Wheelchair Access Cottage and has additional facilities suitable for disabled people.
All our Cottage have free wireless broadband for use with your laptop. Each Cottage sleeps 2 – 6 and are non-smoking. Pets are welcome except in Cathie’s Cottage.
Cottage have patios with outdoor furniture and a gas barbeque, allowing you to sit or dine outside in good weather.
Double-glazing and oil-fired central heating ensures that the cottages are snug and warm throughout the year.
Each Cottage has a spacious lounge equipped with a TV, DVD player and CD player with Ipod dock. There is a selection of books and board games. Cathie’s Cottage also has the extra benefit of a sun lounge.
Cathie’s Cottage, Mountain View, Rowan Ridge and Woodpecker Pad each have three bedrooms comprising one king size with en suite, one twin and one single with a pull out companion bed. There is a shower and bath with shower in each Cottage. The Haven has two spacious bedrooms, one super king and one twin with two pull out companion beds. The large bathroom is a wet room with access from the master bedroom and hallway. There are shaving points in every bathroom.
Kitchen equipment includes: electric cooker with oven, washing machine with built-in tumble drier (no tumble drier in Mountain View), dishwasher, microwave, fridge-freezer, toaster, kettle, coffee maker and all the utensils and crockery you need for your stay.
