The house was just the right size for five and centrally located between Jim Thorpe and the wedding venue. The kitchen is fully stocked so cooking big meals was easy. George was very friendly and committed to our group having a good, safe visit. I\'d rent again if in the area.
This property is wonderful. Everything was meticulous and in great working order. Owner was very helpful and friendly. He even went out of his way to send me a letter before our trip filled with restaurant and other recreational recommendations. I definitely recommend this property to everyone.
Dear George, Your home was just what we were looking for. My friends husband and I were very happy with the space. The commute was excellent. It had everything we needed and more. Enjoyed the walks to the Beach and Pool as well as the occasional Yard sales. We manged to see Deers, Bucks and Rabbits. By the way Jim Thorpe was quite nice, loved walking and dinning through the town. Once again thank you for sharing your lovely with us and look forward in near future!
This home (and my trip) was fantastic. My boyfriend and I visited George\'s home for Memorial Day weekend with two other couples for biking, whitewater rafting and relaxation. I could not have asked for a better home to stay in. The house is centrally located to everything you\'d want to see on your trip and George provides restaurant and day trip recommendations in case you need ideas. The home was extremely clean and was equipped with everything we needed, and if we had any questions, George was just a phone call away. Sitting on the back screened-in porch of the home (with white string lights!) was an especially relaxing way to spend early mornings and late evenings. Although we did not have enough time to use the pool and lake in the residential community during our stay, both looked very well-maintained and were in walking distance of the home--a huge plus especially if you are travelling with kids!
This is our second time renting this property and were just as happy the second time. Very clean and so charming. The owner is amazing. We will definitely be back.
