This designer 1500 square foot corner unit is elegant with the ambiance of a four star hotel. Our home offers two individual suites on two separate floors insuring complete privacy. One suite overlooks the 13th hole at the world class Kona Country Club and has a king-size bed. Enjoy the master suite with an oceanview and spacious bath which includes a Kohler whirlpool, both suites include a TV.
Our home features every amenity, three full granite bathes, kitchen with granite counter tops and all new GE Profile appliances, custom cabinetry bar and wine cooler. The media room comes with a home theater which includes a plasma TV. It is a two story unit with vaulted ceilings.
Our oceanfront Condo is located in a garden setting on 14.5 acres with three lighted tennis courts, no charge for court time and large pool, there are charcoal grills and an outdoor picnic area. From the lanai you have a wonderful view of the Kona Coast and view of whales, kayakers, and of course spectacular sunsets. Come and visit paradise. Aloha and Mahola.

This is a choice property on the west side, in the Keauhou-Kona Surf and Racquet Club. Top floor, beach-front, two-story, clean, well appointed, with a wrap-around lanai, and an unobstructed view to the sea. Very quiet property for relaxing and very spacious to allow all to find their own space when needed. Just down the street from the Keauhou Shopping Center which has a well-stocked KTA Super Store grocery, shops, and restaurants. Just minutes away from downtown Kailua-Kona, as well as the Kona Coast. The property owner is very responsive to requests and quite easy to work with. I recommend this property quite highly
You know what they say in real estate; location, location, location....Yes, the location of this wonderful condo is right on the waters edge, with spectacular pounding surf and gorgeous sunsets beautifully framed by towering palm trees!! But that's not all; the physical location is just as spectacular as the views off the balcony. You have the convenience of grocery shopping and multiple restaurants less than one mile away, yet you are far enough removed from the hustle and bustle of mid-town (which is less than 6 miles away) to actually feel the serenity this great place has in store for you. All the descriptions and previous reviews for this property are all quite real and we need not say anything more than it very comfortably meets all your "vacation home" needs, and then some. You might say, "it is the whole package". We left, wanting more...and more...and more. A return visit? Oh, yes, in a minute!! Many thanks to our hosts for this most memorable experience.
We stayed at The Keauhou Surf and Racquet Club in #3304 recently and loved this beautiful condo. There are 2 bedrooms as well as a media room that doubles as a private, 3rd bedroom, and 3 full bathrooms. The condo has been beautifully updated with granite countertops and stainless steel appliances, as well as two laundry areas--one upstairs for the master bedroom, and one downstairs. The views are stunning from the livingroom, upstairs master bedroom, and the large, wrap around lanai. I've stayed in several condos in this complex and all were lovely. This one was more roomy than most, with a loft master suite to die for. I would definitely book this unit again. If you are not able to climb stairs, any Surf and Racquet Club condo is not for you unless you book a ground floor unit--there are no elevators in the buildings. We like the extra exercise that we get just coming and going, so for us, the stairs are not a problem. The stunning views and privacy from the upstairs units make the climb worth the effort. I was especially pleased with the charming decor of this unit. The furnishings are perfect for the space, comfortable, clean and new. This is not always the case with condo rentals. The unit has also been redone with new tile floors throughout. The Surf and Racquet Club at Keahou is about a 10 minute drive down Alii Drive from downtown Kona Town. However, Keauhou Village Shopping Center is just a 2 minute drive away for groceries at KTA market (with an excellent deli and bakery), CVS pharmacy, and several restaurants. Kenichi Pacific Restaurant is located there--you won't want to miss this one! The complex itself is quiet and the pool is large and usually very quiet. There are 3, newly resurfaced tennis courts, as well. If you prefer a practically private beach, at the end of the property one can step onto a beach where turtles feed right at the water's edge. On most mornings, you might be the only person on the beach! If you want the action of Kona Town right near your condo, The Surf and Racquet might not be for you. But if you want a peaceful, serene, relaxing setting among lush tropical gardens and crashing surf, this is where you want to be. It's why I always book at The Surf and Racquet Club. This particular unit is extraordinarily well-stocked with everything you might need for your vacation--from snorkel gear to beach chairs, and a fully stocked gourmet kitchen with everything we needed to prepare meals. We loved our stay in this condo.
The condo is exactly as it's photographed! Beautiful furnishings and artwork, well maintained and the owners were very accommodating. I would stay here again during the Whaling Season just to see them come across the lanai and view them closely with the telescope. Our 40th vow renewals were in the park beneath our condo and everything was perfect! Mahalo for the beautiful condo! We had the 3-course $30 dinner at the Sheraton's Rays on the Bay and that was the highlight of our trip. The rays were attracted to the lights and performed for us!
The owner was great to work with notwithstanding unrelated difficulties they were having. The condo is as advertised...probably the best location in the entire facility and well done. There were minor maintenance issues, but none of them were a big deal. The owner was interested in hearing about them and is correcting them ASAP. Parking for two vehicles was never a problem. Tennis courts were generally available,and we were always invited to rotate into doubles games whenever we showed up. This was also a convenient location to launch adventures from, and the location pretty much guarantees most or all of your stay will be sunny. I hope to rent this unit again.
Great location, close enough to shopping and restaurants in Kona but out of the hub bub and noise of being right in it all. The complex was peaceful. And you cant beat the lania for watching sunsets, whales, and passing boats. The view is fabulous! We slept every night with sliding glass doors open listening to the surf. The condo is very well equipped. I dont like to do a lot of cooking while on vacation so we didnt utilize the kitchen very much but it is equipped so I think you could cook just abou anything you wanted to. Condo is also equipped good for going to the beach w/ boogie boards, chairs, matts and coolers. The only thing I would have liked to have seen more of was beach towels. We only found 2 in the dryer when we got there. So I bought a couple. After being there a week we did find one more in the closet. Lee and Cali were great to deal with. If we go to the big island again this is the 1st place I will check for availability, and I will recommend to friends and relatives. A couple other things I recomend are the farmers and artisans market in front of the Sheraton on Wednesdays and Saturdsys. And HIGHLY recommend the night manta ray snorkel trip. We did the manta trip with Sunlight On Water, and they run a top notch operation.
We had a marvelous time at this beautiful, spacious home with astonishing oceanfront views. We saw turtles in the ocean right below the condo, and were there for three days of extreme high surf which was exciting and lovely to watch. The home is fully stocked with all essentials, including sporting and beach equipment. I can't recommend this place highly enough! I would stay here again any time I come to Kona if it is available. It fully deserves its excellent reviews by all the people who have been lucky enough to stay here. Thanks to the owners for being so helpful!
This is our second year staying at this condo at KS&R club. The location of the complex is ideal for those wanting to explore the island, yet have many cool activities close at hand too. The condo is as described. Top (3rd) floor with large wrap around balcony directly on the ocean. We would often try to be back to the condo to watch the sunset, as there was no better place to be, except to watch the sunset from the summit of Mauna Kea. An activity I would highly recommend. There is an excellent beach to snokel just 3-5 min drive away. We liked to go before breakfast for an hour as the sea turtles would still be in swimming around close to shore. The drive up Alii drive to Kona is beautiful. Be sure to try "the poke shack" for the best on the island. The Scandinavian shave ice was also the best place for a nice afternoon treat. I could go on and on. Back to the condo. The master bedroom upstairs was open and airy. I was worried about it being warm as it it upstairs, but the ocean breezes kept it cool. In fact, my wife would often pull a blanket up in the wee hours of the morning. The kitchen is well laid out with great appliances. The owners responded to emails promptly and were pleasant to deal with. The one downside is that you have to carry your suitcases up to the third floor, but after that, it is all worth it. We would definitely return to this rental again, as we did this year.
After visiting Oahu Island (Waikiki Beach @ the Hilton) for a few nights we decided to visit The Big Island. Upon arriving we spent the day at the Volcano National Forest and drove from Hilo. WOW - the views were incredible. We didn't get to the condo until after 9pm. What a relief - when we opened the door! The place was so spacious and clean! Our family (of 4), went thru looking at all the rooms, bathrooms, the balcony and we all were very impressed. I was hesitant about renting a place with no a/c! It was surprising comfortable once the sliding doors were open and you got the ocean breeze. During our 5 day stay the temperature ranged from 77-91. There were times we perspired, but those moments didn't seem to last long. The condo had beach items, golf clubs, tennis rackets, games, books, etc..even had the small items...a few rolls of toilet paper, bags, paper towels, condiments, soap, someone even left cold beer and water....ahhhh. We traveled with two other families (they stayed in other units) and they came over for dinner one night. Plenty of room for 13 and the kitchen had everything I needed. Location was great! Just a few blocks away was a grocery store, pizza place - yummy and other stores. After visiting a touristy island, it was nice to unwind. The golf course next door was closed for renovations :-( We went snorkeling at Kahalu's Beach just left of the complex - BEST snorkeling I've been to, water was so calm and clear - wonderful experience! Just up the road from that 5 mins or so...fantastic shopping and restaurants to choose from. We also took the Sea Wife Charter for fishing and Blue Helicopter tour to see the waterfalls, ect. When we come back to visit...we WILL stay at this condo again! THANK YOU for sharing your home with us.
