This property is well located. It is close to restaurants and shopping. A lake,pool and tennis courts are all in walking distance. The townhouse is furnished nicely and was clean. The owner readily answered any questions I asked.
I rented this house for 7 people for a girlfriends birthday/ski trip and we had a great time! The pictures are accurate and the house was spotless when I arrived. It has plenty of space for 6-7 people to fit comfortably and speaking of comfortable-the king bed in the master bedroom was like sleeping on a cloud! It\'s in a quiet area and only a 2 minute drive to Big Boulder Mountain! The owner was very easy to get a hold of and answered all the questions I had. I would definitely recommend this place and would stay here again!
Our time spent at this lovely home was wonderful. The house is close to Jack Frost and Big Boulder, both of which we visited. Split Rock resort is close by as well - they have an indoor water park and bowling alley. My 3 year old son LOVES to bowl! All bowlers under age 5 bowl for free so it was economical and fun! The indoor water park looks huge from the outside, but we didn\'t get a chance to visit that part. There is a $1 entry fee to get into the resort. The lakes were frozen over, so it was nice to see people out ice skating. We did a lot of cooking at the house and found everything we needed. There was also extra laundry detergent so we could wash our clothes before we left. George reviewed everything we needed to know upon our arrival - he was a gentleman. We really enjoyed our stay!
My 3 girlfriends and I stayed at this townhome for a weekend in October. From the time of my first contact with the owner until my last conversation with him, when we were getting ready to leave the house on Sunday, he was kind, helpful, and accommodating. The house was beautifully kept, very clean, and comfortable. An added plus was that the linens and paper goods were provided. The surrounding wooded grounds were lovely. During our weekend, we enjoyed Country Junction (\"World\'s Largest General Store\"), Holly Ross Pottery, Crossings Outlets, and the Powerhouse Eatery (awesome!) - each about 1/2 hour from the house. We also stopped into Callies Pretzel factory - delicious. A great weekend!!
This was my second stay at the townhouse and it was great! No complaints. The owner is a pleasant person to work with and we found the place exactly how it was described.
My dad and I stayed at the townhouse last weekend for the Pocono 400 NASCAR race. The house was exactly as pictured (I honestly felt as if I had been there before), if not better! It was clean, comfortable, and very well stocked. The location was perfect for our purposes (2 or 3 miles to the track), and the surrounding area/lake was beautiful. We had dinners at the Boulder View Tavern and Shenanigan\'s, breakfast at Piggy\'s, and drinks at Nick\'s (great deck/lake view, live music). All are recommended. Working with George, the owner, was a dream. This was my first time using VRBO and he was so helpful with the process. He sent a great intro package with restaurant suggestions, let me know about area attractions, and even forwarded emails/updates from the racetrack! He\'s very quick to respond to all communications and is very friendly and easy to talk to. At departure, we let George know that we would be back next June! I would also recommend staying here for a winter ski trip - it\'s truly a year-round home/location. Thank you again George for opening it up to us!
It\'s only several hours into our little getaway with 2 young children and I\'m already impressed. We had a smooth transaction with George, the owner, and we\'re greeted by him when we arrived. He took the time to help us secure a gate at the top of the stairs so my kids were safe, dropped off some new grilling utensils and gave us activity suggestions. We have traveled the country renting from VRBO and George is by far the friendliest. Lots of ownership pride in this house. It\'s clean and well maintained. Would HIGHLY recommend!
I recently stayed at this townhouse and it was perfect. The location was excellent and the home was very clean. There were no surprises. It was a pleasure to work with the owner as well. I\'m already thinking about booking another weekend stay for the summer.
We had a great time in Lake Harmony. George the owner was extremely helpful, made everything so easy. The townhouse was very clean, spacious, and comfortable. Nicer than the pictures. We already discussed going back for a summer weekend.
House is very clean. Owner takes great care in making sure visitors are welcome. Transaction to rent home went smoothly. Owner communicates efficiently. House is close to the ski slopes. Reasonably priced.
This was my first time renting a townhouse using the homeaway.com website and I couldn\'t be happier with my experience and selection. Right when you enter the place, you get a feeling of warmth and relaxation. There is a real cabiny feel with the wood burning fireplace and wood trim. The townhouse was well-equiped with linens, towels, paper products, and a stocked kitchen. I loved the open concept layout and breakfast bar which is perfect for entertaining. George, the townhouse ower, was extremely friendly, accomodating, and informative. He would respond to my emails in a very timely manner. In addition, he provided us with an information packet about local restuarants and entertainment. I believe the townhouse is well-priced for what is provided to the renter. I would rent this townhouse again and recommend it to all my family and friends.
We thoroughly enjoyed our Fri. to Sun. stay! It was exactly as described...even NICER!! It was very clean, had ample linens, great kitchen, and was perfect for our relaxing weekend at Big Boulder! The owner answered all questions and left nothing for us to worry about. We all agreed that we could not say enough about staying there! We will definitely recommend this rental to anyone looking for a place at Lake Harmony. It is a two-minute drive to Big Boulder Ski Resort. (The reason for our visit.) And, we will stay here again!
The house is in great shape and the location is perfect. The place is roomy and comfortable. The kitchen has everything you need and the owner George is very honest and accommodating - he offered us a lot of information on the area. I would recommend this place to anyone who wants to experience the Poconos any time of year.
Put my request in on line and within minutes my phone rang and it was George the owner. From the first few minutes of speaking with George it felt like he was a friend. He offered a lot of information that wasn\'t on the website and was extremely helpful with information regarding the surrounding area and recommendations for restaurants and other attractions nearby. A very honest, helpful and funny gentleman wrap into one person, all while still being professional. The unit was exactly as the pictures and description indicated on line. The condo unit is beautiful and clean, very well maintained. Perfect location extremely close to ski mountains as well as many area restaurants, couldn’t ask for a better location. My family and I have rented many homes over the years for vacationing and I have to say this was by far the most well stocked house. From kitchen items, bed linens to bathroom necessities you will have everything you need for your stay while here without the stress of having to remember to pack and find the space in your car. I cannot say enough good things about the owner George or this lovely unit. My husband and I are already trying to figure out when we can return for another mini vacation at Blue Heron. I would highly recommend staying here and if you’re on the fence….don’t hesitate, this is truly a gem! Thanks George for sharing your beautiful home with us!
