Potters Hill Farm Bed and Breakfast

Set in 15 acres of peaceful, mature parkland, supporting diverse bird and wildlife, producing wheat, barley, linseed, beans and oilseed rape with a breeding flock of 400 breeding ewes. Accommodation comprises three comfortable en suite rooms - 1 family, 1 double, and 1 twin. There is also a guest sitting room. All rooms enjoy views over the parkland and farm. Potters Hill Farm is one of the last remaining Crown farms in the home counties, and has been tenanted by the Stanley family since 1962. The land is spread over 770 acres, adjoining what remains of the ancient Wychwood Forest. The Coachouse, adjacent to the main house, was built in 1910, and formerly housed a stable, tack room and coachroom. Original features have been retained wherever possible, including the original elm boarding around the walls, one of the oak stall partitions, and stone window surrounds. Colours, furnishings and fabrics have been chosen to enhance the building, and to reflect the parkland in which it is set. The farm now produces wheat, barley, oilseed rape and feed beans. Our flock of breeding ewes has recently been reduced from 1300 to 400. All Cotswold attractions are within half an hours drive. The historic town of Burford is just 10 minutes away. We are 7 miles from the old market town of Chipping Norton and 10 from Bourton-on-the-Water. There are several nearby inns serving excellent evening meals.
