Our three acre grounds on the banks of Loch Earn were first inhabited by MacGregors, followed by the Duke of Breadalbanes tenants (descended from the Campbells of Breadalbane) and latterly 200 year of McLarens. We live on the grounds in Briar Cottage, a 17th century, B listed, thatched Cottage that was restored in 1997 with the assistance of Historic Scotland.

Guests can fish (March 15th to October 6th), picnic or barbeque from our 250 feet private garden area on the shores of Loch Earn where we have a jetty, slipway and 3 mooring buoys.

An excellent choice for; fishing, water sports, cycling, walking, golfing, riding, climbing enthusiasts and for those interested in history or folklore. The region boasts excellent eateries from pub grub to fine dining, the nearest hotels being 150 metres and 200 metres from the gates. There are also 2 water sports centres, a cafe, post office and grocer store in the village.
