I have adopted this villa as my home away from home. I only received excellent customer service when dealing with both the owner and staff. The property was clean, cozy, and well-maintained. Lenteen is a jewel and I fell in love with her. She also made the best meals ever! Bill made sure we made it safely to all destinations and he always had a smile. I absolutely would recommend this villa to my family and friends. And I will be returning in the near future!
Had the most amazing time at Villa Deja Vu, Lenteen and Mr Bill attended our every need and was so warm and welcoming. We made everlasting memories at the villa made special by Lenteen and Mr Bill. We have made two very special friends. Our son and his girlfriend (both 19) shared many moments with Lenteen and Mr Bill and came away inspired and touched by their kindness and wisdom.
This was my first time in Jamaica and Deju Vu made it a great first . The Villa was great. I would most definitely stay here again. If your are going to Jamaica then I would definitely consider Deja Vu Villas...
The staff made it very easy and relaxing. The house was very clean and well maintained. We did many trips and Mr. Bill was so accommodating. Make sure to try Ms. Lenteen’s brown stewed chicken and escoviechted fish!
This property is stunning and presents just as seen in the photos! It's very clean and well-maintained. I'm Jamaican-born living overseas. I came with two women friends who are visitors to Jamaica & we were so very inspired by all the staff and the first class service they provide. As soon as we arrived we were immediately greeted by Lenteen whose warmth and sincerity made us feel right at home. She is an amazing cook and her mouth-watering meals including her curried chicken & king fish dinner are second to none. Her wisdom and insights are powerful. She's given me/us so much love I've/we've adopted her as mother.
It is difficult to know where to start. Deja Vu was the perfect place for me and my husband. We were met at the airport by Bill (the safest driver in Jamaica) after waiting a very long time for us to make our way through immigration. From the moment we met Bill we felt like old friends. Not only a good driver but a great tour guide and historian of Jamaica history. Arriving at the villa was just like coming home. Lenteen was at the gate to greet us and again it was like we had known each other for ages. Lenteen is the villa manager, cook and all round wonderful women. She accompanied us to the grocery store where she guided us as to what to purchase for our week's stay. The produce area included lessons on the fruits and veggies that were new to us. The villa's swimming pool which is kept sparkling clean by Desroy was fantastic. The view from the pool is beautiful and large. The villa is located in a quiet neighborhood. It was difficult to leave the villa, Lenteen and Bill. They will be in our hearts forever. Thank you Mr. Brody for creating this wonderful vacation spot and having the best staff in the world.
Words cannot described how much I've enjoyed living in Deja vu for a week. When we arrive in Montego Bay, it was a long wait in customs, plus we were waiting for another friend to arrive. However, our driver, Bill waited patiently holding the Deja Vu sign with a smile. In addition, Bill took us anywhere we needed to go whether it's to a nightlife or to the store. Ms. Lateen, our cook is truly a blessing. She's such an angel and an awesome cook. Omh...curry chicken, chicken stew, fried plantains, Ackee and salt fish. Not only that she is a spiritual woman who made the villa so peaceful and pleasant. Ms. Sophia and Elroy always kept the villas clean and ready for a swim or for us to relax. I will be back for my 3rd time in Montego bay. Highly recommended!!!
My wife and I met up with an old friend at this villa overlooking the Caribbean. Very reasonably priced and comes with a first rate cook, driver, and maid service. As such, we had good interactions with locals, and ate a number of traditional Jamaican dishes and learned more about how they lived. Added bonus was going to local markets and roadside stands to get fresh fish and food. We toured northwest Jamaica at our leisure. The pool was a great way to wind down at the end of the day. The villa has three spacious guest rooms (each with their own baths) and very relaxing living and dining areas. Breakfast on the veranda with fresh fruit overlooking the beautiful sea is a great treat. Highly recommended.
Our stay was amazing and we will definitely be coming back. This was our first time we tried renting a house out of the United states for a vacation. In the past when traveling to the Caribbean we have always stayed in all inclusive and I was hesitant at first but I am so glad that we decided to try it out. We had an amazing experience. The owner gene was very quick to respond any questions we had. The house and private pool was beautiful. All of the rooms were very spacious. My boyfriend and I used the bedroom with the two queen beds as the master bedroom and the beds were pretty comfortable. The other two rooms only had twin beds in each which could pose a problem if there are multiple groups of adults going. The pool furniture should probably be replaced or repaired (there was only cushions for two of the four wooden chairs) but these were only minor things that I could think of for improvement and did not effect our experience at all. The housekeeper Lanteen,that lives at the property, is very sweet and goes out of her way to make the experience as relaxing and positive as possible. The gardener, Delroy was delightful and does a wonderful job of keeping the grounds in top shape. Will, the driver was very accommodating and helpful. Overall the employees of the house made our experience at the villa and Jamaica overall above and beyond what was expected. I'm not sure how much they get paid, but I am sure it is not enough for all that they do and they all deserve a raise! It was hard to leave this beautiful place and the beautiful people that we met. We will definitely be returning in the future!
2nd Stay At Villa Deja vu, this time without the daughters. We stayed 10 days and were once again treated like Royalty from Ms. Lenteen, Mr. Bill, and Dezroy. We were able to be a part of Mr. Bill's Nuptials to his beautiful bride, and the feel like part of the Deja Vu Family. Definitely recommend this little piece of Paradise to friends and family, and would return again and again and again. One request Mr. Brody, you need new patio furniture. Otherwise amazing staff again!
This property is gorgeous! It was clean and well-maintained by Lanteen and the gardener. I came to visit a friend and did not need to utilize the driver this trip. As soon as we arrived we were immediately greeted by Lanteen and she made us feel right at home. Lanteen is truly as jewel, while sitting on the porch having an early morning talk I felt like I was sitting talking to my own grandmother! I would recommend this property to anyone who wants to get away from the resorts and truly experience Jamaica and all this gorgeous country has to offer. Make sure to stop off at Jerky's to enjoy the best jerk chicken on the island! The street vendors in downtown Mobay serve up some good cow skin and chicken feet soup as well. I hope to be able to visit again soon!
This was the 1st time I have ever stayed outside of a resort. I was very, very, pleased with this villa and the staff that came with it. Lateen was the best person in the world. She was very polite and cooked us some mean oxtails. Bill the driver is a trooper. We called him the REAL MVP of our trip. Every night we went out on the town and he stayed parked near us for whenever we wanted to leave. If you are reading this I would highly recommend this villa. Don't be affraid to stay outside of a resort. Oh BTW the view and the pool are awesome. Thanks Lateen, Bill, and Gene for the awesome JAMROCK experience.
Lenteen is a jewel and made our stay very comfortable. She's the Sweetest! She is my new adopted Grandmother! We've visited many villas in Jamaica and by far, this one has become our favorite. We usually visit Jamaica a couple times a year and have decided that Villa Deja Vu will be our new home away from home. Bill was good too, but we didn't utilize his services much this trip. But he was available if we decided we wanted to go out. We relaxed more than anything. VILLA DEJA VU is definitely a winner!!! The owner Gene is awesome very fast at responding and he will work with you.
My Wife and I along with our 3 daughters 20,18,15 opted on a warm christmas instead of the -35 canadian one. Couldn't have made a better decision. Ms Lenteen (a.k.a. Ms Robbie), was amazing, decorating a palm tree for our xmas tree and made us feel welcome from the time we arrived at Sangster airport until the time we left 2 weeks later. My girls refer to her as their Jamaican Baba. Mr Bill was willing to drive us anywhere we wanted to go, from Black River to Ocho Rios, to Negril or anywhere around Montego Bay. Mr Bill always had a smile and was very knowledgeable about the area that we were travelling. We definitely will be returning.
Once my husband got over the initial shock of the living area not being air conditioned and was able to escape to the bedroom for a sip of A/C he's was fine. By Tuesday afternoon he was acclamated to the heat. My family and I simply fell in love with Lenteen and Bill. We all actually cried when it was time for us to leave. They both took excellent care of us. Bill drove us wherever we wanted to go and advised us of the areas to stay clear. Lenteen was like our guardian angel that we wanted to take back home with us. She is an amazing cook. She introduced us to the Jamaican dishes, which were excellent. I miss them dearly and look forward to another stay. My kids (ages 18, 20, 25) really enjoyed it. We were able to see the real Jamaica and not what the tourist see.
Even though our flight was delayed Mr. Bill waited for us to arrive, greeting us with a lovely smile. Our first day was spent running around trying to find a money transfer place to collect our funds but Mr. Bill took us around patiently until we did. Once we arrived at the home we were greeted by Ms. Lenteen who made us immediately feel like family. Her warm and caring spirit makes you feel like never leaving. The home was exactly as we imagined it to be, amazing!! We enjoyed the pool many times as we awaited Ms. Lenteen's delicous meals whether it was breakfast or dinner. She made us feel like royalty by ensuring that we did not lift a finger to clear dishes even though we always insisted! Even though I got sick (twice) with one time landing me in the hospital, Ms. Lenteen never left my side, she even spent the night in the hospital until we were told I could go home.
We had the greatest time ever here. It was exactly as described by the owner, and the staff were THE BEST EVER. Friendly, knowledgeable and just all around wonderful people. I would never look to stay anywhere else when visiting Jamaica.
We had the vacation of a lifetime at Villa Deja Vu. The villa is very clean, comfortable, nicely decorated and spacious with beautiful views of the ocean. The villa is conveniently located to many attractions, atm, store, gift shops, and resturants. But the best part about our stay was Lenteen (cook) and Bill (driver). They are wonderful people and it was like leaving family behind when our vacation was over. They saw to it that our every need was met. We learned so much about Jamaica from them and felt very safe and taken care of. We had Bill drive us everywhere and he never complained, even though I know we wore him out. And Lenteen had such wonderful meals prepared for us every evening when we returned from our excursions, and every morning making sure we were always satisfied. Lenteen is an amazing cook and created a very special anniversary dinner for us that we will never forget She is an absolute gift from above and is truly one of the kindest people I have ever met.
We stayed at VIlla Deja Vu during our girls trip to Jamica..The staff here were amazing...Lenteen and Bill made our stay very comfortable and enjoyable. Lenteen is a wonderful cook and Bill is very kind man who knows the best places to go and gives wonderful stories. The house was great! The private pool was even better. You had the option of hanging out on the beach all day or staying by the house pool. I would recommend this to anyone. We plan to go back and stay here again.
The villa is a peaceful and luxurious as always. It is the perfect place to be, with a wonderful ocean view and lots of privacy. I can stay many places when I come to Montego Bay, but this is the best villa in town. The staff is very attentive to all your needs. Lenteen is the best cook (in my opinion) in Montego Bay and with Bill (the driver) and Desroy, I feel like I am coming home every time.
I have vacationed around the world but this vacation was the best ever. The villa staff consisted of "Lenteen " our cook, a housekeeper, a gardener/pool maintenance man and our personal driver with mini-bus. The cook was excellent and prepared delicious meals, the villa was always clean and well maintained, the swimming pool was sparkling clean at all times. We enjoyed many tour excursions including Ocho Rios, Negril and others. The driver "Bill" was very careful and courteous. I highly recommend this villa to everyone that visits Jamaica
It was one of the best vacations. The house is lovely and spacious. The staff are the best. I went with a sprained ankle and was taken care of so well, I didn't want to leave. Since everythig is on one floor it made it easy to get around. Our place was always clean and our meals were always delicious. I will stay whenever I am in Montego Bay.
